Although we employ our innate creativity whilst solving day-to-day problems, consciously engaging in creative activities can not only feel very enjoyable, it can further our knowledge of ourselves and the surrounding world, foster our self-acceptance and self-confidence, can help us slow down and reconnect with our values, so we can adapt quicker in this fast-paced and demanding world.  Artful Mindscape offers workshops that link psychology, neuroscience and art to help reconnect with ourselves in an enjoyable and meaningful way, one that enhances the sense of wellbeing and promotes growth. KARINE GAZARIAN, PHD Karine is the founder of Artful Mindscape and workshop facilitator. Originally from Lithuania, Karine studied psychology in Canada and clinical neuroscience in the UK. LONDON

Now in my early forties, I have dedicated the past two decades of my life to helping people create rewarding, fulfilling and loving relationships which will enable them to fully reach their potential. I genuinely believe that we are all trying to create the best possible lives for ourselves — but often we face emotional blocks, arising from difficult past experiences, which prevent us from moving forward. Self-doubt, fear and judgment play their parts, and we feel forever condemned to repeating the same mistakes. By working through challenging issues, and uncovering our true selves, we are able to begin again, and take strides forward in our lives. The Tree of Life, 1905 Gustav Klimt Museum of Applied Arts, Vienna Our emotional responses, our thoughts and behaviours, are all self-taught, and can certainly be unlearned, or adjusted and improved. Everyone possesses the ability to replace old habits and create new ones. No matter who you are and whatever your experience, good or bad, there is always the potential for personal development, and to grow into a happier new you. As a mentor I will guide on a journey of your own making, to a place of authentic, soulful growth and personal development. Approach I try to ensure that my time with those seeking my help is a fun, enjoyable experience which brings out the best in those to whom I gladly offer my assistance. I find an interactive and participatory style helps those in my charge to embed their new knowledge more quickly and efficiently. I use techniques from Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, as well as elements of Life Coaching, to create engaging and practical instruction. We set and review goals on a weekly basis, and with every session we develop new skills that can be immediately implemented into daily life. Having worked with many people over the years, I am very well aware of the need for immediate change and development. The techniques I use create a series of small changes which build confidence in the process and so enable participants to consider the possibility of more challenging development — changes that before, felt impossible, now feel within reach. Motivation I am grateful I have been given the opportunity and skills to turn my passion into my profession and help people grow. and I am committed to developing human potential wherever I am able. Helping people work through issues in their lives and seeing how this change manifests itself, brings meaning to my life and work. As a mentor, I work with clients on every step of their journey and appreciate the privileged position this allows me.

In my own life I have had to face many challenges, find my own strength and rely on my inner resources. This is why I became a counsellor, I qualified in 1998 and later achieved my registered/accredited status with British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Personal counselling helped me accept myself and gain a better understanding. It has also made me much more resilient in dealing with whatever issues life threw at me. Now, I help others to find their own strength and sense of self through counselling and more recently, poetry therapy. We are all unique and follow our own paths towards change. I know you can change, if that’s what you desire. Having a confidential space, where someone listens to you attentively, and in a non -judgemental manner is the first step. Together, we can explore the sensitive issues which you would prefer to put to the back of your mind, but which keeping nagging at you. I have been on this journey myself, and for over twenty years I have worked in various capacities with people from all walks of life and have seen great results. Contact me for an initial conversation. Additional experience In addition to managing a counselling service working with trauma and abuse. I have extensive experience as a supervisor of other therapists. I also teach personal development courses at City Lit, adult education college in Central London. I have also facilitated personal development groups for counselling diploma students. Poetry therapy Over the past decade, I have come to experience the transformative power of words. I have facilitated poetry therapy groups and therapeutic writing workshops in a wide variety of settings, including clinical settings, schools, churches, libraries, museums, prisons and The National Archives. I am one of a handful of Certified Poetry Therapists in the U.K, who have completed their training with the International Federation for Biblio/Poetry Therapy in U.S.A.I trained under the mentor ship and supervision of Victoria Field. Currently I only offer poetry therapy in groups. Do visit my workshop page to find out about current workshops / groups or sign up to my email list below. My Book: Writing for Resilience After implementing therapeutic writing programmes in a wide range of settings. I have used this expertise to produce a workbook. The book began its life during a poetry therapy group that I facilitated for women survivors of trauma in Central London. Together the group decided that they wanted to offer hope to those who had been through similar circumstances and introduce other people to the fantastic resource that is, writing as therapy.

We ,Syeda Zainab Trust community organisation that has been at the forefront of the economic development, training and career advancement of people from local communities with particular focus on employment support for the marginalised communities. Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one's rights – and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen. Syeda Zainab Trust ,a registered charity company (Charity no.1185836) in the United Kingdom, provides education and training to children and adults , Our projects presently help and support in India to Zainab Educational and Welfare Society (ZEWS) in Kurnool district,Andhra ,India providing free education to poor children. We are now aiming to expand our support to most deserving people around the world. Aim to benefit adults and children and their families every year, through live welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment, aim to driven in over many remote villages and slums across India. Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues – from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one's rights – and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen. Doubtless, education is the most powerful catalyst for social transformation. But child education cannot be done in isolation. A child will go to school only if the family, particularly the mother, is assured of healthcare and empowered. Moreover, when an elder sibling is relevantly skilled to be employable and begins earning, the journey of empowerment continues beyond the present generation. Realizing this, Syeda Zainab Trust, beginning in the corridors of education, adopted a lifecycle approach of development, focusing its interventions on children, their families and the larger community. Syeda Zainab Trust believes that unless members of the civil society are involved proactively in the process of development, sustainable change will not happen. Following this model of Civic Driven Change, Syeda Zainab Trust sensitizes and engages the civil society, making it an active partner in all its welfare initiatives.

Mindful Training

Our own mental health challenges and those around us has helped us all come together to create a team that is right for your needs. We are a group of individuals who gravitated towards each other over the course of a number of years as we recognised we had similar values, goals and motivations, the main one being ‘helping others’. Whether you are a large corporate, an SME or one person looking for the light, we are here to help. We have over 35 years experience in the fields of Mental Health, Wellbeing, Psychology and Corporate Training. Sean Heneghan is a Chartered Organisational Psychologist and accredited coach. His belief is that each person has the potential to perform at a higher level within their current working delivery, but they are often unaware of their real potential. The most useful training is often as much about enabling individuals to grasp new opportunities to play to their strengths, as it is about helping them to become more aware of ‘new thinking’ that is sometimes necessary to help them challenge areas that they were previously unaware of. He has a passionate belief in people’s ability to learn and change and this comes across in his enthusiastic, trusting and empathetic style. Sean Liddell is an accredited MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) Suicide First Aid (City & Guilds) and Mindfulness practitioner and coach. A naturally empathic motivator, Sean utilises his coaching skills and conversations to challenge and embed learning to effect positive behavioural change. He has helped hospitals within the NHS, school teachers and students, university lecturing staff as well as other organisations experience the benefits of Mindfulness. He has also mentored young leaders from the commonwealth through the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust. He spent twenty years in a corporate role as an Associate Director for Lloyds and HSBC where he developed his leadership skills in sales, marketing, and communications. He was also appointed an official mentor to the Queen’s Young Leaders (QYL) mentoring 2 future leaders from St Kitts and Nevis and Grenada in the Commonwealth. The QYL was established through The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, in partnership with Comic Relief and The Royal Commonwealth Society as well as speaking at international conferences. Feedback from a recent MHFA course: “If I could have gone higher than 10, I would have, Sean was fantastic in the way the course was presented. The way in which he addressed the topics made many of the attendees so comfortable that even I spoke about things that I did not think I would be able to discuss due to the relaxed tone and area we were in.”

Rachel has over 20 years’ experience supporting a variety of social impact organisations from small charities to major research institutions. Key projects Rachel has worked on include developing and leading Charity Finance Group’s small charities training programme and writing NCVO’s Financial Management website resources. Finance trainer for the Association of Independent Examiners Finance mentor for the School of Social Entrepreneurs Finance trainer for Small Charities Coalition Our sector is fantastic at social stories In our sector, we are fantastic at social storytelling. We weave clear and simple stories from real world wicked problems and use those stories to solve those wicked problems. It's nothing short of remarkable. Our stories make people's lives better and communities stronger. They clean oceans and preserve habitats for endangered species. They move hearts and win minds. They make change happen. We are not, in our experience, as good, when it comes to our financial storytelling. All too often, the financial stories which we tell ourselves and those who wish to work with us, constrain our potential. Our lack of financial confidence - in our numbers and in our decision making - holds us back. But less so at financial stories Yet, we know that it is when changemakers really embrace the finances, own the numbers, understand the stories behind the numbers, use these stories to marry money with mission, they can extend their social impact and realise fully their social ambitions. We also know that for many changemakers, the biggest barrier to owning the numbers is not technical but attitudinal. We are told that keeping on top of the numbers can be boring, difficult, anxiety provoking. We help you find your financial story That is why we bring our love of numbers to all of our work. Our love of numbers, all numbers, enables us to bring the same clarity to your financial storytelling as you bring to the social storytelling. Our love of numbers helps you to take the fear out of finance. Our love of numbers means that we work with you to build your financial confidence while you build your social impact. Not all heroes wear capes. Some change the world with stories. And others do it with spreadsheets.
