"We encourage, enable, develop, mentor, facilitate, empower and support local creative arts practitioners from a wide range of backgrounds." Since our Foundation, in September 2014, we have staged over 120 exhibitions showcasing a varied body of work, by artists both emerging and established. Encompassing a diverse and multi-disciplinary range of artistic practices including: Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Illustration, Photography, Sound, Video and Performance Art. A comprehensive list of all of our past exhibitions can be found under 'Portfolio'. Our overarching ‘Philosophy’ is to actively encourage, enable, develop, mentor, facilitate, empower and support local creative arts practitioners from a wide range of background with a priority to engage in discussion around accessibility within the arts in relation to mental health, financial hardship and institutional bias. We have also provided work placements to a number of European students, via the Erasmus + and Gecko programme. Partnering with local Venues, Institutes and schools , we aim to develop a strong community that has access to free space, free mentoring and the ability to grow and learn from each others valuable experience and skills. The spaces are offered for hire and for free depending on the nature of the request and is offered to both emerging artists or collectives that deserve a space to explore and harness potential, or established artists with a strong visual aesthetic. Our initiative is to offer this space first and foremost to west-midlands based artists who wish to strengthen their local artistic community and create a discourse for regeneration. We curate approx one show per month in our two exhibition spaces and these are either from chosen submitted proposals or from exceptional and forward thinking artists that we find on our travels. In-between these exhibitions we encourage groups or collectives with a passion for community welfare and development to use the spaces for poetry , music, discussions, rehearsals , workshops or their own curatorial interests. I have always had a passion for learning and supporting others to achieve personal and professional success. As a former Headteacher, I know the tremendous expectations that can be placed upon schools and their staff. I embraced my Headship with enthusiasm and ambition though at times I often felt isolated, insecure and exhausted. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to invest in coaching as part of my leadership development.  It was transformational. Coaching enabled me to improve professionally and create positive change for others. Working with my own coach, I learnt how to work effectively, manage change and remove or overcome any barriers that were holding me back. I became able to balance the demands of an intensive job with a young family and feel far more confident and energized. As a direct result of my experience I wanted to ensure all educators had the opportunity to experience coaching and  build their leadership skills to create success for themselves and inspire their teams and school community.  Feeling the experience of coaching for myself and seeing the positive impact it has on others is the reason I became a qualified coach. I know leadership can be tough, but I also believe it can be the most enjoyable and rewarding role you will ever have. Coaching reminds us of what we value and why we love what we do. Whatever challenges you face as a leader, I can assure you learning coaching is the best decision you will ever make.

Bullying is a complex issue which requires a multi-faceted response. There are many factors that influence behaviour – in our schools, our communities and online. We benefit from a wealth of research both in the UK and internationally relating to bullying, and we are influenced by a broad range of theoretical approaches. Direct interventions with children and families We provide interventions with children at an individual and peer group level and family-based interventions. Work with schools and the community We support staff to understand how their actions influence the behaviour of children and consider practical ways we can build safe communities. Wider societal influence We consider the ways that our society and culture influence the behaviour of children and are champions for kindness, empathy, inclusion and respect. The impact of our work There are five main ways that we reduce the impact of bullying and harm: Building communities of support Reducing isolation and loneliness Promoting positive relationships Supporting resilience and wellbeing Helping children recognise and respond to bullying behaviour.
