My trajectory Vision. Determination. Passion My name is Iuli Caroline, I grew up in the countryside of São Paulo (Sumaré). Sambar is what fills my soul with light and makes me enjoy life. I've always believed in creating a community of people who, like me, love the power of the movement - and that's my main goal as a samba instructor. I started my career at the age of 12, being a junior dancer at the samba school(Havaí 71) in my city in the interior of São Paulo. Over the years I spent in numerous traditional samba schools (Estrela D’alva, Leões Padre Anchieta) in my locality, until I was of legal age and competed for Queen of the City (Paulínia 2014), where I was crowned in First place. Representing my city made me see that my place was to fight for samba and dance in general. After this I was also crowned Miss Beauty Black, representing the cultural Black community of my locality. Countless hours of stage and presentations came together over the years, until I made my first tour towards Egypt(2018). Working in another country with other people, showing my roots to different cultures and also getting to know them is fantastic. Today I continue my journey in the city of London - United Kingdom. Now here in London, I work with Freelancer Mulata Samba Show and I am part of respected entertainment companies and major artistic productions. In this year 2021 I was crowned Princess Miss Generation London. In addition, Coming here to London working with samba and helping to keep our Brazilian culture alive. I won the Second place in the London Awards 2022 Dance category, another recognition after years working with Brazilian culture. We also work with great production of renowned samba artists artists that bring us the best of our culture. In the year 2022 we collaborated together with the coming and organization of the workshops of Mayara Lima and Mayara Santos, great samba phenomena teachers that were with us in a big euro tour. I continue with my projects and workshops, working on instruction for one of the greatest models of empowerment, Samba! This brings joy, grace and sympathy .. linking communities together. Based in Devon and South Yorkshire, Hoarding Disorders UK – Community Interest Company was originally set up by Jo Cooke and Amanda Peet. It is now run by both Jo Cooke and Jo Cavalot. Mission Statement Hoarding Disorders UK is a not for profit Community Interest Company. Our aim is to provide practical hands-on support as well as expert advice to those affected by the varying levels of hoarding disorder, ranging from the chronically disorganised to those with extreme clutter. We support both the individuals and their families throughout this process which helps them to reconnect with each other as a family unit and the wider local community. We have a responsible and unique person-centered approach using professional decluttering, life skills and home organisational skills. We provide an ethical, sustainable and quality approach throughout our work which includes the use of our 8-step plan, support groups, coaching, research, education and training. We also work collaboratively with other professionals and organisations in contact with these individuals and families. Jo Cooke is a Director of ‘Hoarding Disorders UK – Community Interest Company’ and also runs her own business ‘Tapioca Tidy’. She is also the author of the book “Understanding Hoarding” which is fast becoming the “go to manual” for hoarders, their families and agencies that work with people exhibiting hoarding behaviours. She has appeared in the Guardian newspaper, Take a Break magazine and other publications. She has also appeared a number of times on BBC Radio and in a BBC documentary ‘Inside Out’. Jo was selected as a finalist for the Thames Valley Venus Awards’ Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. Jo is a professional declutterer and organiser who has a very professional, calm, non-judgemental and “makes sense” approach to helping you reclaim your space. Jo previously had a varied career in charitable organisations, human resources, project management, bookkeeping and the civil service, but realised she had a flair for decluttering and organising when she had to sell the family home that her father had lived in for more than 30 years. She has a wealth of experience and skills required when working in cluttered environments and takes a responsible and empathetic approach to the needs of people she works with. Jo runs three hoarding support groups in Bracknell, Newbury and Reading, Berkshire.

Formed in 1986 and a family owned and operated business, L&T Transport Training provides instruction for anyone looking for LGV or PCV training to drive vehicles from C1 to CE and D1 to D in Yorkshire, including Pontefract, Castleford, Wakefield, Leeds, Doncaster and Knottingley to name a few. We also train drivers in the transportation of dangerous goods (ADR), the operation of Lorry Loaders (HIAB) and we are a JAUPT Approved Centre for Driver CPC Periodic Training. In March 2012 we were very proud to become the first Customer Site for Lorry and Bus tests in the region. This means that all trainees now train and test with us at our Fitzwilliam Training and Test Centre. In November 2021, the UK Government announced changes to the legislation which has had a massive impact on our industry. One of the biggest changes is the reversing part of the test. This is now conducted by our own reversing assessors. Our on site, private reversing area is where you will learn to reverse your vehicle efficiently and take your test. The on-road driving test is carried out by DVSA Driving Examiners who are based at our site. You can also benefit from learning in our HGV Training and Conference facility, ‘The Eber Suite, where we can accommodate up to 20 candidates seated at desks and our computer suite with eight individual workstations. Lawyers are strong, intelligent professionals. Very often we’ve got the career, family, nice house, decent income, but experience failing mental health and a poor sense of well-being. Have you spent years climbing the ladder, striving to be the “go to” person for your clients and the person your team looks to for answers? But in clocking up all that chargeable time maybe you’ve missed school plays, dinner dates and family gatherings. Do you manage to have conversations with your spouses that doesn’t involve negotiating who’s paying the cleaner or picking up the kids from school? Lawyers have a larger dose of the “perfectionist” gene than you’ll see in many other professions. We feel as though we must be the one who gets everything done, meets deadlines, gets the kids to school and has a week’s worth of frozen dinners ready? (Or feels like you should be doing all of that?) This is leading us to higher and higher levels of burnout, stress related absence, ill health, not feeling able to pursue that promotion or new role, and even leaving the profession we’ve worked so hard to join.
