I am Instructor Terry Statham, and I have been involved in martial arts for 16 years. Firstly as a Taekwondo parent, watching my two eldest sons develop. Then, for the past 13 years, growing through my own Taekwondo journey and achieving the rank of 4th Dan Black belt in October 2021. For the last 11 years, I have had the honour of being a Taekwondo instructor to students of all ages and abilities, I am excited to have brought my experience into a community setting within my own school.

We’ve worked independently on a wide variety of climate change issues, each for over a decade, and decided to pool our knowledge and experience to take action and drive change. Our projects for action on the climate crisis, climate emergency, and the environment in the North of England include: Pollinator Parks, rewilding advice and events, litter picking and beach cleans and working with businesses in the context of the climate emergency.

Fauldhouse Penguins Swimming Club was founded to support and develop the swimming abilities of young people from around the area. While the swimming club was originally established in Fauldhouse some decades ago it was re-founded in the year 2000 by Eian Prentice. We are based in Fauldhouse, West Lothian, Scotland and train at our pool within the Fauldhouse Partnership Centre. The Fauldhouse Partnership Centre is a facility designed to serve the community of Fauldhouse for core purposes of health and well-being. It was opened in 2011 and is the home of the Penguins.
