We are the Inspire Genius Foundation. Our goal is to help to increase awareness of neurodiversity and strive for a more neuro-inclusive world.Chris and Gaile Griffiths founded software company, OpenGenius, in 2006 with the mission to help people think better using technology. OpenGenius promote inclusion through assistive tech designed to benefit every member of a team, no matter their differences. The Inspire Genius Foundation was started with a £50,000 donation from OpenGenius to raise awareness of neurodiversity and improve the experiences of neurodivergent people. Chris has also committed to donating profits from his latest book ‘The Creative Thinking Handbook’ to the charity.

We are an independent grant making charitable foundation working to improve the lives of those living with a visible difference through funding a wide range of both basic science and clinical research and service provision. We also host and support a network of individuals and organisations.in the field called The Appearance Collective with the aim of fostering better collaboration, reducing duplication and increasing impact. The VTCT Foundation was established in 2014 following a one-off gift from VTCT, a specialist awarding and assessment organisation offering vocational and technical qualifications in a range of service sectors. Two major multi year grants were made in 2015 and 2016 to the Scar Free Foundation and Centre for Appearance Research (CAR) respectively. Since then we have funded over 36 organisations through our major and small grants programme and during the pandemic through our ‘New Ways of Working Fund’.

The Harley Foundation runs two galleries – The Harley Gallery and The Portland Collection museum. Exhibitions from leading contemporary artists and makers are on show in The Harley Gallery. Exhibitions change quarterly. The Portland Collection museum displays the historic art collection of the Dukes of Portland and their families. Please note that the museum is temporarily closed and will reopen on 25 March. Free children’s activities are available daily in both The Harley Gallery and The Portland Collection museum. Head upstairs in The Harley Gallery for a creative activity inspired by the exhibition, and come back soon as activities change regularly.
