Want a chill day with friends? Enjoy our Art Jamming workshop, paint and drinks! No stress. You don't have to be the Picasso. About the event During the art jamming workshop, you are free to paint with the provided materials. Some painting guidance will be provided if necessary. It’s a good time for you and your friends to gather and enjoy the painting in freestyle, chit-chat with drinks. - Each session is 1.5 hrs (within 2 hours). -You own your art piece after the workshop. -Soft drinks, Coffee, hot chocolate and tea are provided. -No experience is needed. All the materials are provided such as paint brushes, acrylic paints, A3 canvas and easel. -Private group sessions are available by reservation ( 8- 10 people). A fun creative workshop full of colour for any level and perfect gift! Just bring your keepsake along and discover how you will use Barbola to create your piece of art?  Barbola which was a popular technique found in the 1930's. You may have seen these beautiful vintage pieces? This technique was often found on mirrors, trinket boxes, fire screens and cigarette holders. It was originally made from gesso in the shape of flowers, fruit and leaves. On the day you will learn how to make your own flowers and leaves using moulds and how to make your piece have the charm of the 1930's! We will need any dietary requirements as a luxury cream tea lunch with a pot of tea or fizz will be served.. whatever you prefer! This one day event includes small items for you to work on and materials to create and paint your Barbola like acrylic paints. You can also choose from the whole range of paint from Sophie James Decor. You will need to bring Optional bring your own keepsake like a shoe, picture frame, hard back book etc What is included:  Luxury Cream Tea Lunch Where & When: It takes places at our workshop at Tom's Farm Shop & Garden Centre, Maldon Road, Tiptree, Essex, CO5 0QA 10AM to 3PM There is ample parking. In this workshop, your child will create a selection of New Years Eve themed crafts including a rosette and 2024 calendar! The will be a break for squash and a snack and also a mini New Year countdown. This workshop is aimed at age 5+ and you may drop them off or stay for the session. Any age is also welcome along if you’re happy to craft with your little one, there is a 10% discount for all siblings. I will also be running Little Crafters session aimed at age 4 and under in the morning. Instructions We shouldn't get too messy during the workshop but please don't send your children in their best clothes!
