We are an independent multidisciplinary centre offering children’s therapy services in the South East of England, Kent, East Sussex, as well as nationally and internationally. We have an expanding team of highly specialised professionals offering assessment and treatment for children. In addition, we offer support to families, carers and to schools. Our team includes Paediatric Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Play Therapists, CBT practitioners, Psychotherapists, Behaviour consultants, Neurofeedback Practitioners, Clinical Nutritionists and an Audio Vestibular Consultant. We collaborate with Educational Psychologists, Optometrists, Special Education Needs Coordinators (Sencos), Touch Typing specialists and many others. Starjumpz offers an integrated and holistic approach to helping and empowering children, young people and their families. The services offered assist those with developmental, learning, motor and/or behavioural difficulties. Amongst many therapeutic approaches we offer, we specialise in Sensory Integration Therapy and have therapy rooms equipped to the highest standards by our partner, Rompa, the leading UK Sensory Rooms designer and supplier. We also offer Neurofeedback treatment for both children and adults. We are building on the work of the Christmas Childrens Clinic established in 1989, by Jill Christmas, Occupational Therapist and author of ‘Hands on Dyspraxia’ and ‘Sensory Dinosaurs’. Based in Crowborough, East Sussex, we offer therapy in the centre and also in schools and children’s homes. We also offer intensive therapy to clients from all over the UK and abroad who come to visit and stay for courses of intensive treatment. In addition to assessment and treatment, we offer intensive therapies, holiday courses, and are working towards providing group treatment and training for parents and professionals. Starjumpz has partnerships with: Autism Eye, Rompa – Sensory Equipment Specialists, and Winslow Press.

Joy Townsend set up A11 Medical Services Ltd after being a volunteer with St John Ambulance for many years, decided to leave there as she no longer liked the new commercial set up, then worked with a Private Ambulance company for about 5 years as a General Manager and decided it was time to go it alone and start this company to help fill a gap within the Event First Aid Medical field & Training. This was becoming apparent with Event Organisers being let down by the ‘bigger’ National providers. So, this was the beginning of A11 Medical Services Ltd in 2019. Joy Townsend Managing Director Emergency Care Assistant (FREC4) with CERAD Qualification / Event First Aider / Trainer / IQA Joy has over 40 years experience in doing first aid and event medical cover across a diverse range of events throughout East Anglia. Examples include Norwich City Football, American Football, Marathons, the Royal Norfolk Show, Boxing, Horse Events of all types, Motor Sport (Bike/Car racing at Snetterton circuit and Motocross), Open Air Concerts and Village Fetes, plus much more. Joy is also an experienced Event Manager/Planner (including organising the levels of medical cover required and liaising with the event organisers & other clinical grades). As well delivering clinical skills at events, Joy has a proven track record in delivering quality training for Event Medical teams, plus first aid training to members of the public and the commercial sector. As well as holding the FREC 4 qualification, I also hold the level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF), Level 4 IQA, Infection Control, Dementia and the Level 3 Safeguarding of Children, Young People & Vulnerable Adults. My latest new qualification I have passed is L3 Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (CERAD).

Starting in 1959, Helen Young School of Dancing is a long established dance school in Paisley. Since 1987 principal Christine O’Donnell has continued to develop the dance school and maintain an exceptionally high standard of teaching to all pupils. Following Christine’s retirement in June 2015, Helen Young School of Dancing will continue in Paisley. This will continue with new principals Claire Irwin and Julie McFall, assisted by Jane McKenzie all of whom are fully qualified dance teachers and former pupils of Helen Young School of Dancing. Claire Irwin Julie McFall I started my journey at Helen Young School of Dancing in 1990, under former Principal Christine O'Donnell. Throuhgout my time at the dance school I have participated in various B.A.T.D. examinations and annual dance displays. I participated in B.A.T.D. amateur medal tests and gained my first professional teaching qualification in 2006. I began to assist at weekly dance classes and continue to increase my own teaching skills and qualifications. I have also participated in Latin American, Ballroom Dance, Line Dance and Rock 'N' Roll B.A.T.D. amateur medal tests and also in various dance competitions around the country in these branches of dance. Qualifications include: Associate B.A.T.D. Majorette Associate B.A.T.D. Modern Dance Associate B.A.T.D. Stage Associate B.A.T.D. Ballet Fellow B.A.T.D Freestyle Fellow B.A.T.D Traditional Step Dancing Dance continues to be a great passion of mine and I am delighted that I am now joint principal and able to pass this on to our very own Helen Young pupils. Claire x I began my time at Helen Young School of Dancing in 1991 and over the years have received training in a number of branches of dance. In 2006, my time at the dance school changed in that I began to gain professional teaching qualifications and help out with younger children's classes. After the years of teaching I received, to a very high standard at Helen Young, it has been very rewarding to pass on the knowledge and skills which I have learned to other pupils. Being able to see children and young people grow in confidence and ability is something which I particularly enjoy in teaching dancing. As well as pupils progressing and improving throughout their time at dancing, their enjoyment during time spent there is most important to me and I believe ensures that they reach their full potential. Following Miss O'Donnell's retirement in June 2015, both Claire and I are extremely grateful that we are able to continue with the Helen Young School of Dancing. The dance school has been a huge part of both our lives, both in the high standard of dance training we received and in the lifelong friends we have made there. I look forward to continuing this for all our pupils current and new.

Inside Connections Support CIC is an organisation set up to support individuals with training opportunities that are labour market linked in order to provide a positive pathway into sustainable employment. The individuals for whom we work with have experience of the Criminal Justice System and are either currently serving in a category D establishment or have been released from custody. However, we are pro-actively work with young people who need a positive intervention, those in or exiting care and ex-service personnel. Everyone who comes to us is provided with one-on-one mentoring support to ensure the greatest opportunity for success. SERVICES We run a variety of training programmes that have an increasing demand for job opportunities, this includes the Building Lives Academy which specifically targets work within the construction industry and further programmes in Broadband (Fibre Optic & Data Cable-laying). Additionally, we provide supported living for 16-18-year olds, who use our ‘Getting Ready for Adult Life’ programme to serve the young person’s needs and future prospects.

These services include psychologists specialising in youth mental health and homeless shelters, purpose-built to provide a safe haven from domestic violence. Streetwork’s case management approach enables us to build a community of holistic support, to ensure lasting change and, improved life skills.

Leeds Animation Workshop is a not-for-profit, cooperative company, run by women, which produces and distributes animated films and films on social and educational issues. The organisation began in 1976 as a group of women friends who came together to make a film about the need for pre-school childcare. After completing WHO NEEDS NURSERIES? - WE DO! the group was formally established in 1978 as Leeds Animation Workshop. Throughout its history the Workshop has been run by women, who have carried out all stages of the production process, from initial research to final distribution. The films are all produced in consultation with organisations and individuals involved in the relevant field. The Workshop specialises in making complex or sensitive issues more accessible to audiences, and at times offering an alternative point of view. As well as production and distribution, the Workshop has been involved in many other activities, such as organising screenings of films by women and black directors, and providing workshop sessions in basic animation for adults and young people.
