I am a caring and patient qualified Primary Teacher with over 7 years classroom experience. I have worked with a wide range of students including those with special educational needs. I have been tutoring since 2018 originally both Face to Face and Online, but since March 2020 I now offer online tuition only which I have found to be most effective for students of all ages. I offer bespoke lessons, always tailoring the level of work covered to the individual student’s needs and interests. To develop both their self-confidence and attainment levels. I really enjoy helping my students reach their potential. I can offer 1:1 and group tuition online using zoom and bitpaper (click here for more information) according to my clients needs. Offering tuition in the following subjects for ages 4 – 12 yrs (EYFS – Year 6 & Year 7): Maths English (Phonics, Reading, Handwriting, Creative Writing and SPAG) Science I also offer Test Preparation for: Year 1 – Phonics screening Year 4 – Time Tables Year 2 and Year 6 – KS1 & KS2 SATs – for Year 2 and Year 6 Focusing on exam technique, building confidence and covering any areas of the Maths and English curriculum required to enable the child to complete SATs confidently. I can also offer Transition to Secondary School Tuition – for children who lack confidence or have gaps in their learning from their time in Year 6, to enable them to reach their potential in Year 7.

The online courses are designed for a wide range of people around the world, among them self-directed and life-long learners, educators, and high school and college students. The integrated, highly flexible web interface allows users, in effect, to audit Yale undergraduate courses if they wish to. It also gives the user a wide variety of other options for structuring the learning process, for example downloading, redistributing, and remixing course materials. Each course includes a full set of class lectures produced in high-quality video accompanied by such other course materials as syllabi, suggested readings, and problem sets. The lectures are available as downloadable videos, and an audio-only version is also offered. In addition, searchable transcripts of each lecture are provided. Who Leads Open Yale Courses? Diana E. E. Kleiner, Dunham Professor of History of Art and Classics and former Deputy Provost, is Founding Project Director and Principal Investigator of Open Yale Courses. Professor Kleiner brings to the project a wealth of experience in the development of Internet educational offerings as well as her long-time experience as Yale professor, scholar, and administrator.

I’m a writer and teacher and I’ve been sharing my heart online since 2006. I’m the author of This I Know: Notes on Unraveling the Heart and my mission is to help people access their creative joy and nurture a deeper relationship with themselves. Words have been at the centre of my world for as long as I can remember. I started writing a diary aged 11 and grew not only a life-long journaling practice but also an unending curiosity about my place in the world. Studying photography at art school followed by a degree in journalism lead to me working as a journalist for many years, but the truth is my life, as I now know it, began in the spring of 2005 when the man I loved died very suddenly from a heart attack — everything I thought I knew about life changed in that instant. Walking through the fire of bereavement is how I truly came to inhabit every part of who I am, the shadows as well as the light. In 2006 I started writing a blog and being able to share my thoughts and feelings online was incredibly empowering, my way of getting back out there from the safety of my living room. Blogging helped reopen the door to my creativity, connecting me to other souls around the world as I found my way back to what was meaningful for me.

I have been a drummer for over 25 years and my professional career saw me touring the U.K. and Europe extensively. I also have a vast experience of sound engineering and promoting as well as recording. Having started with snare drum and percussion at school including playing with the Bristol School's Orchestra I later started playing the drum kit and taking my playing and lessons seriously. After a great deal of experience playing with local bands I met some very talented and experienced musicians with whom I set up a highly successful professional function band. This band toured extensively every year for 10 years both in the U.K. and abroad with their favourites being Holland, Germany and Portugal gaining an excellent reputation and attracting top level management. I mixed this with deps and recordings for a variety of artists covering many different styles. I started teaching drums privately after completing my first teaching qualification (I then quickly become a fully qualified teacher through studying in my free time). After building-up a successful private practice I taught in primary and secondary schools for Bristol City Council, Bath & North East Somerset and Wiltshire County Council. I have also taught in private schools and ran several series of highly popular band workshops in youth clubs in Bristol and Bath. I currently mix teaching drums with playing regularly with a variety of bands and teaching at Bath College.

Cut Editions is a silk-screen printmaking studio specialising in the production of limited edition original artist prints. Established in 2017 by Ni and Ben Gooding, the print studio is based in The Cut Arts Centre, Halesworth, Suffolk. Originally a Victorian Maltings, the building is now home to a theatre, gallery, arts cinema and cafe and has a prestigious cultural programme. Situated on the ground floor, Cut Editions aims to collaborate with artists and designers who wish to make original prints. Artists do not have to have any previous knowledge or experience of the screen printing process. We are here to guide you through every stage. We will give as much or as little help and advice as required. We are able to make editions for artists or artists are welcome to book time in the studio in order to produce work for themselves under our technical supervision. Cut Editions offers screen printing courses and workshops aimed at beginners and the more experienced print-maker. Classes are small and designed to be enjoyable and affordable. Ben Gooding is an artist based in London. He has a 1st class Honours Degree in Fine Art (Printmaking) from the Cambridge School of Art and an MA in Fine Art from Central St. Martin's College of Art and Design. He has since been living and working in London. Alongside his own practice, he teaches printmaking at Camberwell College of Art and is a contributor to Saturation Point Projects.

Imaginative Drama Classes for childrenHi I’m Becca and I’m the founder and director of Dramabuds. I set up Dramabuds in May 2008 to offer classes that were new, exciting and different. Using my expertise in drama and the creative arts my idea was to create an imaginary play and drama class for the early years and Dramabuds was born! We offer classes for children aged 2 to 10 years, we base our classes around a story theme each week and we get the whole class involved in the action through drama, play, movement and song! Before setting up Dramabuds I learned my trade by studying at drama school and acting in theatres before leading and producing drama, theatre and education projects for arts companies and schools across London and the South East. I have worked with Cardboard Citizens, Cirque Du Soleil and Creative Partnerships on high profile projects. But the birth of my second daughter Eliza inspired me to create drama exclusively for the Early years. So Dramabuds was born in the summer of 2008 in my back garden with my daughter Florence (aged 2 and a half) who loves dressing up as a princess and acting out stories. A year later we were running our classes at venues across SW London and were awarded the runners up prize for ‘ Best new Activity for the under 5’s’in the whole of the UK by What’s on 4 little ones.
