Landmarks started to offer day services and post-16 education in March 1995, where the curriculum was largely practical and land-based, working in farm buildings in Creswell, Derbyshire. Since that time Landmarks has grown and developed its educational offer so that by the time of writing this welcome, Landmarks supports over 150 post-16 and day service Learners, all of whom learn a variety of essential life skills from our five sites located across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. We have changed our curriculum from purely land and animal-based to include several vocational subjects such as; hospitality, catering, cookery, retail, administration and labouring. These additional subjects support our learners to make informed choices about the type of vocations they would like to follow. College life at Landmarks involves being taught in practical, real-life situations, whilst being supported by highly trained and experienced staff who are experts in working with learners with additional needs. It is important for me, as it is for my team, that whilst learners are with us, they focus on developing knowledge, skills and behaviour that makes a real difference to their lives. I hope from reading the case studies and outcomes featured within this website, you can see what difference that focus has made to our learners’ lives. I am extremely proud of all our learners’ achievements, either becoming more independent so that they can attend activities they enjoy or securing employment for the first time in their lives. Indeed, we are so keen to support our learners that when you leave Landmarks, should you need support to maintain employment or seek advice you can contact our dedicated ‘After College, Aftercare’ team. The Chat Shop story started in 2011. That may not seem like an especially long time ago, but trust us, ten years is a very long time in live chat history. Before we were incorporated, hardly any businesses used live chat, and fewer still seemed to recognise its revenue-generating potential. The more we looked into why this was, we saw that few people really understood the value that chat could bring to their business, and chat was a real challenge to get right. 2011 Small beginnings The Chat Shop was founded by two people who knew they could provide a solution. They sensed that live chat might represent an unexplored opportunity to reach out and connect with customers. Could smart onsite conversation be the key to engaging wavering visitors and converting them into qualified leads? 2012 Officially incorporated By June 2012, The Chat Shop was officially incorporated. The Chat Shop began life with a £5K investment and a strong belief in the untapped potential of conversational marketing, before conversational marketing was really a thing. Despite our shoestring funding, we won our first client at the end of 2012 and worked 18-hour days (on chat!) until we could afford to hire a client team. 2013 We hired our first team After more clients joined, we were relieved to be in a position to hire a team. The founders’ experience of being on chat helped identify exactly the team we needed. They had to be native-English speaking and natural at engaging with prospective customers through chat. 2016 Our focus on innovation grew The chat technology we were using had always been good, but we knew that in order for us to truly take conversation up a level we needed a team of developers. This kicked off our long-standing history of enhancing our clients, customers, and agents' experience with market-leading technology. 2017 The Chat Shop Inc was born Due to increasing demand for our solutions from North America, we officially incorporated our US business, The Chat Shop Inc. This enabled us to grow our US team and client base, building our strong presence on both sides of the pond. 2018 First acquisition The Chat Shop had partnered with Jeff Wilson and the team over at Ortho Engagement a few years prior, successfully delivering chat for over 100 Orthodontists in America, Canada, and Australia. When the opportunity arose, it made sense for The Chat Shop to take over ownership of the business as our very first acquisition. 2020 The big plan We took a step back and really thought about what had driven our, and our clients' success to date. This led to a whole new approach to our solutions - still very much human-led, and tech-enabled, with further investment into our strategy, people, and technology. 2021 ... and beyond Ten years and millions of chats later, our youthful instincts have been vindicated. Conversational marketing and onsite chat are now well-established as brilliantly effective ways to drive customer engagement and boost conversion rates.

Sergio & Sharon Withers Sergio & Sharon Withers Sergio & Ana Afonso Sergio & Ana Afonso Sergio Brilhante Qualified with both the ISTD and the IDTA, Sergio has extensive experience working with people from all backgrounds. In 2008 he decided to move to the UK to pursue his competitive career and become a full-time dance professional and teacher. His focus is on great technique, emotional connection with the music and of course have fun along the way. Sergio is currently in California, USA studying American Smooth and American Rhythm and will occasionally visit the studio for some coaching.Together they competed not only in Same-Sex events but were also the first and only all-male couple to participate in Professional events, challenging the notion that a couple needs to be consistent by a male and a female. As they explored the dynamics of leading and following, it felt only right to move on to the Professional field together, where they had competed for so many years. After all, if our society has developed to accept all sorts of partnerships why should in dancing be any different? They have enjoyed competing together at the most prestigious events in the UK, including the British Open that every year summons thousands of dancers across the world.

Broomfields Youth Project (BYP) is a multi award-winning voluntary Christian youth work partnership that seeks to be a signpost and support for young people. Being part of the local community, and working in partnership with multiple agencies, BYP look to support ANY 13-17 year olds in our local community to support and signpost young people who want help with emotional and mental health needs. BYP's aim is to welcome, value and reflect the love we have been shown to the young people who come to us. We want all young people to feel like they belong and have a purpose. The 'Shack' youth centre was built to allow BYP to develop beyond our original Friday night intervention work, by creating a space where deeper relationships can encourage change. We now focus much of our resource around supporting and leading Bridgewater High with their work in the areas of mental and emotional wellbeing. Since BYP's inception in Nov 2009 the local Police stats have shown a consistent reductions in anti-social behaviour in the area.
