Cameron is a collector of great ways to get people well through movement and a positive mind set. He is a Clinical Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with 30 years experience. Including a career as a military physiotherapist. He has special interests in chronic pain, spinal, pelvic and shoulder problems, whiplash and headaches. A renowned Pilates teacher and international lecturer he trained as a fully certified studio pilates teacher over 20 years ago, he now trains pilates and other movement related instructors himself. Cameron has extensive experience in bodywork, performance and rehabilitation. Uniquely, Cameron may have been the first to teach pilates in Iraq and Afghanistan! Cameron is a member of the Manipulative Association of Physiotherapists and has an MSc in Ergonomics. He has a passion in understanding peoples motivations and encouraging individuals to find their passion and enjoy movement and body awareness. His experience, knowledge and a positive approach create a unique blend, to help professionals and clients foster their health and education needs. Cameron also runs an initiave for wounded veterans called MOBILIZE.

"We encourage, enable, develop, mentor, facilitate, empower and support local creative arts practitioners from a wide range of backgrounds." Since our Foundation, in September 2014, we have staged over 120 exhibitions showcasing a varied body of work, by artists both emerging and established. Encompassing a diverse and multi-disciplinary range of artistic practices including: Painting, Sculpture, Printmaking, Illustration, Photography, Sound, Video and Performance Art. A comprehensive list of all of our past exhibitions can be found under 'Portfolio'. Our overarching ‘Philosophy’ is to actively encourage, enable, develop, mentor, facilitate, empower and support local creative arts practitioners from a wide range of background with a priority to engage in discussion around accessibility within the arts in relation to mental health, financial hardship and institutional bias. We have also provided work placements to a number of European students, via the Erasmus + and Gecko programme. Partnering with local Venues, Institutes and schools , we aim to develop a strong community that has access to free space, free mentoring and the ability to grow and learn from each others valuable experience and skills. The spaces are offered for hire and for free depending on the nature of the request and is offered to both emerging artists or collectives that deserve a space to explore and harness potential, or established artists with a strong visual aesthetic. Our initiative is to offer this space first and foremost to west-midlands based artists who wish to strengthen their local artistic community and create a discourse for regeneration. We curate approx one show per month in our two exhibition spaces and these are either from chosen submitted proposals or from exceptional and forward thinking artists that we find on our travels. In-between these exhibitions we encourage groups or collectives with a passion for community welfare and development to use the spaces for poetry , music, discussions, rehearsals , workshops or their own curatorial interests. Starlight Academy is a dance and performance school based at The Dance Mill, a purpose built dance and fitness centre in Guiseley, Leeds, founded in 2008 by Melanie Hadfield-Walker and Christine Cade. We offer a full range of classes, helping to build confidence, strong dance technique and training for the stage. We have classes suitable for all age groups, from pre school to young adult. Exams can be taken in tap and modern though the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus classical ballet through the Associated Board of Dance (ABD) syllabus. Acro exams are offered through Acrobatic Arts, and Musical Theatre and Contemporary exams with ABD. Cheer classes following BGU. We are an accredited Acrobatic Arts school, offering Acro classes from age 5 with Miss Mel, who is one of only 5 UK Acrobatic Arts examiners and course conductors, or Miss Christine who holds her module 2 Acrobatic Arts qualification, or Miss Alison who holds her module 1 AA qualification. Other classes include Commercial Jazz, Musical Theatre, Singing, Contemporary, Lyrical, Showstars, Ballet Tots and Funky Monkeys, our specially designed Pre-school program.
