Prudhoe Community High School opened in 1958 with 350 students. In September 2016, the new school building opened and the school is now a thriving, attractive and well resourced school serving the community of Prudhoe and beyond. OFSTED arrived soon after the new school opened in 2016 and the school was judged as good. Since then, the school has continued to improve in all aspects including the achievement of students. I am very privileged to lead an exceptional team of very dedicated staff who support students every day so that they can achieve their very best. This is a particular strength of Prudhoe Community High School and we pride ourselves on the excellent relationships within our school community. Excellence is at the heart of everything that we do here at Prudhoe Community High School. Students describe the school as a happy community which is evident in the relationships between staff, students and parents / carers. Working in partnership with parents is crucial, if we are to ensure all of our children feel safe, happy, valued and achieve their full potential. Project 4 Youth Empowerment (P4YE) is a Community Interest Company born by four friends who became tired of constantly speaking about issues impacting young people negatively, so they decided to do something about it. Concerned about the number of young people involved in, or on the verge of criminality, unemployed, or not in education or training, our team decided to try to change the narrative by dedicating tailored programmes for young people. We assist young people and families by offering a range of support such as group and 1:1 mentoring, online workshops, case study workshops, a weekly youth club, advocacy, and signposting to other professional services. Prevention, intervention, and diversional work is at the forefront of what we do and what we aim for with our young people. We have been trained in Conflict Resolution and mediation and work to resolve instances that can often lead to situations of serious youth violence by using our bespoke methods. Our team has many years of experience of working with young people in a variety of settings such as youth work, teaching, specialised gang work, outreach work and working with young people with special educational needs (SEN). We also have experience in leadership, project management and media and we use our skill sets when developing projects and programmes.

Leona Creator of Artists Resource & Lead Facilitator Leona created Artists Resource in 2011 with the Mission “To bring people together, to nurture Creativity and facilitate Transformation – for the benefit of the individual and the community.” She started with one small Art club in North London and in just a couple of years had grown to teaching in Schools every day and hosting Art Parties and Classes at the weekend. In 2018-19, Leona has provided Art workshops for the England football team and BAFTA. Leona has a strong background in material processes and techniques, having a degree in Applied Arts and applying that throughout her career. Prior to setting up Artists Resource, Leona worked for a Art & Craft company, managing concession stands in Harrods, Hamleys and UK Trade Fairs and made Mosaic Murals for School Playgrounds with a local Artist. She also worked on the Art Dept for various independent short and feature films. Leona has specialised in Sculpture and Mosaic Art has her own Public Artworks in Mile End (E3), Muswell Hill (N10) and in various public and private sites in London. The Hong Kong International Coaching Community (HKICC) is a non-profit organisation that cares about the development of coaching and coaches in Hong Kong and beyond. What started in 2002 as the first graduate class of a Hong Kong coach training school reconnecting to share experiences, we are now the longest established professional coaching association in Hong Kong. With well over 100 coaches and counting, we have grown into a professional community of individuals who share the common purpose to inspire and nurture people to be their best through coaching.We continuously strive to meet the needs of all our members. Regular growth and development initiatives are hosted to improve the skills and standards of our members as both coaches and coaching entrepreneurs. We recognise that new coaches may need guidance when starting their journey. We therefore organise specific workshops and mentoring programmes to support them. To give our members a chance to connect and learn from each other, we arrange regular drinks and social gatherings throughout the year, both online and offline. We also create volunteering opportunities for our members to support HKICC and other members, as well as to give back to society. Members are able to lead projects as mentors, become an event host, write a blog, join pro-bono initiatives and much more.

About Bright I's Lead Consultant and Director Bright I's is about the professional development of teaching methods in Literacy that are driven by creativity in classroom approach that ensures progress and impact. Bright I's is the brainchild of Kala Williams, a leading practitioner who has taught in Coventry's secondary and primary schools for over 15 years both as a tutor and a qualified teacher. Having identified her area of specialism as Reading in Literacy particularly in KS2 practice, Kala has conceptualised a consultancy that is about practice through active lesson modeling, staff support and training as well as on the ground lesson delivery and coaching. She has successfully driven progress and attainment in all schools taught with her unique and systematic classroom approach that keeps pupils hooked, engaged and driven by high aspirations. She has taught across both Key Stages with particular expertise in Year 6 and Year 5. Despite being a new primary consultant, her passion for literacy has seen rapid growth in the first year of Bright I's conception. To date, she has trained over 100 teachers across the West Midlands, coached over 30 teachers one to one, delivered group reading intervention to over 150 children (KS1 and KS2) and has currently written a book on reading teaching due for publishing by 2021 with Bloomsbury Education.

WHICH ORGANISATIONS: Brought heads of private sector organisations, public sector bodies, political leaders and leaders of NGOs together into a collective learning space. Their common goal was the desire to have a positive impact on their organisations, their countries and their region. We have held these across Sub-Saharan Africa as well as within the region of Southern Africa, Asia (drawing people from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Malaysia) and Latin America. WHO WE WORKED WITH: Leaders, influencers and manager from a diverse cross-section of sectors and occupations. WHAT WE DID: Offered established leaders from the public, private and voluntary sectors who are at or near the CEO level, an opportunity to transform what they and their organisations do. This was done using transformational leadership theory and experiential learning techniques to enable cross-cultural conversations and mutual learning. This enabled each individual to draw on new techniques and cross sector experiences to develop their thinking and practice. OUTCOMES: Leaders who lead with a greater sense of themselves, the systems they work in and the wider network of leaders that they can both influence and draw on as a resource. Shifted the way leaders see their responsibility and accountability not only to their organisation but to the wider context in which they work. Created a network of leaders who together are committed to make change.
