We are a family business based locally near Cambridge. Bob and Val Bennett first started the company in 1997 and Bennetts Intensive have been offering tailored driving lessons ever since. Their son Mark and his wife Michela successfully joined the team in 2013 after moving down from Liverpool (Mark as an instructor, Michela in the office). Bob and Val are both semi-retired now but you may well be lucky enough to catch them either on occasional lessons or in the office as they happily step in to help when needed. Here at Bennetts Intensive, we pride ourselves in offering an individual service that is second to none by making the whole process as stress free as possible, including booking the theory and practical tests (as required). With two decades of experience in providing expert customer service, our office team organise your lessons and tests to suit your diary and timescales as far as possible. Areas covered include Cambridge and nearby villages and towns. Our school provides lessons for all ages in dual controlled cars. We provide training whatever your experience so far – offering novice courses and shorter courses for those with experience already. We also offer refresher lessons to full licence holders, as well as motorway lessons and Pass Plus courses. Our instructors are fully qualified and very experienced. The Fraser Centre Community Trust is a registered Scottish charity: SCO43597. The Trust was formed in 2011 by Jonny Russell, supported by his family and friends, with the aim of refurbishing the old Winton Picture House. The picture house, the ‘cuds’, opened in 1922 and remained open until the early 1970’s when it closed its doors. It was used by a variety of businesses after this but the building slowly fell into disrepair. In the 1990’s the building was purchased by Kingdom Outreach Ministries and a small section was refurbished for use by the church and became available for local groups to hire the building. It became clear however as the condition of the building deteriorated something had to be done and the Trust was formed to meet the challenge.
