A Fire Warden plays an important pat of an organisations fire safety procedures. Organisations will usually appoint one or more people in each office, shift pattern or area to ensure coverage across the operational hours. A Fire Warden will work with the employer to ensure fire evacuation procedures are effective and will contribute to the fire prevention strategy. Learners will first cover the basics of fire safety legislation, fire classifications and theory of fire as well as their general fire safety responsibilities.
