I have always had a big passion for art and design and always tend to apply that
all important ‘creative flare’ in everything I do. My educational background
includes studying Art and Design at College and subsequently, a degree in
Multimedia Systems at University. As a professional Henna Artist I have been
applying henna onto skin, in the form of body art, for several years. However,
recently I decided to experiment with different types of material such as paper,
glass and canvas. I was pleasantly surprised by the results, as the dark stain
of the henna paste complimented the lighter backgrounds perfectly. The other
advantage of this was that the designs wouldn’t fade overtime as they normally
would when applied to the body. This is how I started out in my current venture
and have gained a lot of interest and positive feedback from the people I’ve
shown my work to. All my designs are totally unique and adaptable, and can be
viewed at any angle, the owner can decide. So far, I have produced a range of
work that is either framed or created directly on canvas. My aim is to create
modern, affordable art with a traditional feel that appeals to a wide range of
buyers from the general public to specialist collectors.
