Whilst working in careers education he began to visualise careers for students in mind map format in order to help further their aspirations and build on their occupational knowledge. GeeLearn’s Social Mission GeeLearn’s social mission is centered around the delivery of science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM), and in particular science education, to children in developing OECD countries. Leveraging our strengths as an innovator in online learning design, development, delivering, and funding, we volunteer our skills and energy and partner with organizations to deliver STEAM education to children in these developing nations, starting with Colombia. In 2020, after an intense 5-year review, Colombia was welcomed as the newest OECD member. In 2021, GeeLearn Ltd. Partnered with the Children’s University at the University of EAFIT (Universidad de Los Ninos de Universidad Escuela de Administración, Finanzas Instituto Tecnológico) in order to volunteer its skills, knowledge, and talents to expanding the reach of Children’s University via digital learning throughout not only Colombia but the whole of Latin America. Background of GeeLearn Ltd. and its Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative: Online Science Education for Children: Colombia to Latin America 2020 – 2023 GeeLearn Ltd. is a social enterprise headquartered in The Melting Pot, “Scotland’s Leading Centre for Innovation”. This volunteer effort for EAFIT Universidad de Los Ninos on behalf of GeeLearn Ltd. represents a social good and comprises a major part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative over a period of three years. The CSR initiative was approved by the company’s board of directors in the Autumn of 2020. The goal of the company was to engage with an educational initiative to help serve children in a developing country that is a member of the OECD. Colombia became an official member of the OECD in 2020, the 37thcountry to do so in the organization’s 60-year history. The directors of GeeLearn Ltd. have identified 6 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that its volunteer cooperation with EAFIT’s Universidad de Los Ninos touches upon and will help Colombia achieve. These include:

Human Story

HUMAN is a storytelling and strategy agency that creates media for social impact. We work with an array of public and private-sector companies, nonprofit and intergovernmental organizations to design objective-driven stories that come to life through branding, video, and digital media. Whether we are helping brands redefine their corporate social responsibility platform or creating original documentary content for a nonprofit, HUMAN helps an array of organizations strengthen their commitment to elevating humanity. We are Emmy nominated experts in how to use media to achieve objectives beyond awareness. Our researchers and strategists think across sectors to harness potential and direct that energy to create specific change and then layer story on top of the data. HUMAN carefully balances advocacy goals, scientific innovation, the best of media and storytelling combined with an authentic artistic voice to make nonpareil media for impact. What We Believe Δ is core to being human. The Greek letter Delta (δέλτα) is a symbol used to denote change. As humans, we are constantly evolving. When we change, we change the world around us. The opportunity to improve the human condition through storytelling inspires us to create and innovate. Change is our ethos. Human emotions are created by our experiences. These emotions are the primary influence of the choices we make. Collectively, these choices determine how humans behave which then affects the experience of other human beings. Stories allow other’s to step into the world of another. Storytelling has the power to inspire us to be our best and disrupt cycles of violence by challenging the narratives of fear. Stories allow us to feel the emotion of our own experience and the experience of others which develops deeper empathy and understanding.

The need to change and improve is driven by the prevailing trends in Europe and around the world: rapid technological development and digital transformation, the green course, the industrial revolution. The whole world is facing such challenges as climate change, economic instability, pandemic. However, it is important to understand that these are not only threats, but also unique opportunities to search and discover the most advanced technological solutions that will help not only us, but also future generations. To grow our business through engaging and developing talented, committed people with an innovative and agile approach. We listen to our customers to provide the best mobile and cloud digital tools for accurate data capture, reporting and delivery of information. We treat our clients, employees and stakeholders in a fair, friendly and honest way. Integrity is our watch word. We believe through our endeavours we will help save money and make every community a cleaner, safer and happier place to live. CEO & FOUNDER Made his first money in software writing a version of Pacman for the TRS-80. TRS-80! That ten quid didn’t go far though, so he gave up and let everyone else do the work for him. Kind, generous, intelligent, good-looking man. Signs the paycheques. Paul Caley DEVELOPMENT MANAGER Centre of the operation. Banned from his local chip shop because he has to have a finger in every pie. Originally from the Isle of Man so has three legs, no tail, and hates paying tax. Andy Hill FINANCIAL DIRECTOR When he's not on the golf course, or on a grand tour of Europe, or at a black-tie dinner, or entertaining at a major sports event, you'll find him working incredibly hard in his office. Unless he's at lunch. And except in the afternoons and all day on Friday of course, when he's playing golf. It's a tough gig, Finance Director. Ben Dean SENIOR DEVELOPER Like all coders, Ben takes an hour to eat his Alphabetti Spaghetti because he has to finish all the 'A's before starting the 'B’s and so on. Tells jokes like, "There are 10 kinds of people, those who know binary and those who don’t." We once gave him Numberetti so that he could finish his lunch whilst it was still warm. Big mistake. Developers don’t like sudden changes to their routines.

HorseWorld is a charity dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned, neglected and mistreated horses, ponies and donkeys. The organisation cares for more than 100 horses, ponies and donkeys at its Bristol site and provides after-care and support for around 200 more, who have been re-homed throughout the South-West. The charity also runs the innovative Discovery educational programme. HorseWorld's vital 365-days-a-year animal welfare work is funded by voluntary donations. You can help transform the lives of horses, ponies and donkeys. HorseWorld is not open to the public on a day-to-day basis but it holds Open Days throughout the year. Please see the events page for details. HorseWorld's Registered Charity number is 1121920 Background The charity began life in 1952 as "The Friends of Bristol Horses Society" in a campaign to save the lives of working horses who were rapidly being replaced by motorised vehicles in industry. Under the banner of “Retirement Not Slaughter” - for many were destined for the abattoir - the charity offered a safe haven in Bristol for the big-hearted horses, ponies and donkeys that had worked all their lives on the railways, in the dockyards, the coal mines, the roads and for the armed forces. Decades later working horses are largely a memory of the past. But there is still a very real demand for this work - to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home up to 100 abandoned, neglected and mistreated horses every year.
