As an equalities-led organisation, our Executive and Non-Executive Directors, staff, volunteers and consultants are all members of a wide range of protected characteristic groups including Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, Refugee and asylum seekers, LGBTQ+, Disabled and Neurodivergent and Gender diverse. Our network of consultants brings rich, lived experiences that are critical to understanding the issues of bias and how it helps create structures of institutional and systemic discrimination e.g., racism in our society. Our clients include individuals, businesses, and organisations across the corporate, public, and social purpose sectors. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience in policy development, project management, research, evaluation, and training. We are able to advise our client, and partner organisations, on employment and management, as well as service design, development and delivery.

The British Woodworking Federation is the trade association for the woodworking and joinery manufacturing industry in the UK. We have over 700 members drawn from manufacturers, distributors and installers of timber doors, windows, conservatories, staircases, furniture, all forms of bespoke, interior and architectural joinery as well as suppliers to the industry. The woodworking sector as a whole is a £3.8 billion industry operating at the heart of UK manufacturing. The Federation strives to provide the best possible service to our members and to ensure that service represents the best value for their subscription fee. Central to the BWF is our Code of Conduct, against which all members are audited. We believe this is the basis of our success in recruiting and retaining quality members; it drives us on towards achieving our ambition to be the trade association of choice for every woodworking enterprise in the UK. Our focus is on ‘Building it Better with Wood’, promoting the inherent advantages of wood and helping our members to achieve more around our themes of healthy, sustainable, productive and safe ways of working. The BWF is also a community and brings together individuals and companies within the industry to share problems and experiences and find solutions together. We offer regular opportunities for members to rub shoulders with their competitors and suppliers, whether formally in our technical and market focused meetings and working groups, or informally at BWF Social events.

Welcome to New Global Image (NGI), a social enterprise that works, primarily, to project a positive image of individuals, groups, communities and organisations. The Organisation is founded on the need to highlight the achievements of people, by using their rich heritage, historical experiences and achievements, to project them as partners in global development. As a Non-Profit Organisation, NGI generally acts as a resource for people. Hence, it provides advice and assistance, as well as organises programmes of physical, educational and other social activities, to enable our service users to advance in life. Furthermore, it provides recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare, for people living in the area of benefit, as well as those who have need, by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances, with a view to improving their conditions of life. NGI focuses on the skills development, capacity building, empowerment and the creation of networking opportunities, so as to enable people to participate in their communities as independent, mature and responsible individuals. This translates into three main service areas namely, Training, Consultancy and Community Development. The organisation has an inherent interest in partnering like-minded organisations, albeit local, regional, national or international, to realise this objective in an effective way. We believe we can make a difference in people’s lives and bring hope for generations. We value your support and look forward to working in partnership with you
