Your local driving school in Haslemere & Hindhead, Surrey and Hampshire Learning how to drive is one of the most exciting things you can do in life. And there’s nothing quite like the feeling you get when you pass your test. Except perhaps the sense of independence that comes from getting behind the wheel and heading out on your own for the first time. Of course, there’s also the satisfaction of being able to take someone else out for a drive. Here at L to P Driving School, our mission is to help you gain that freedom. We provide friendly, expert tuition and our unique approach means we focus on coaching, not just instructing. We always work at your pace and coach the way that works for you. And whether you’re a bit nervous or can’t wait to get started, our aim is always to provide you with the skills you need to drive safely and confidently. Our driving lessons cover Haslemere, Hindhead, Churt, Dunsfold, Elstead, Chiddingfold, Milford, Farncombe, Godalming, Guildford, Liphook, Liss, so we’re sure to be your local school wherever you live. A Driving Instructor who understands you “I’m a dad, so I know from personal experience how difficult it can be to choose the right driving school and instructor. Especially someone who’s able to understand the needs of your son or daughter. I’ve got two grown-up kids of my own. And teaching my son how to drive proved the inspiration behind doing it professionally. Armed with this first-hand experience, I can provide all the reassurance you need as a parent and be there every step of the way as your child goes from learner to pass.”

My name is Cameron and I am a 27 year old keys player specialising in Rock, Blues, R&B, Funk and Soul music. I started playing the piano aged 8 and have been passionate about music ever since. I have many years’ experience providing piano lessons to people of all ages and abilities, in person, in schools and online. Companies I've previously worked for include Open2Music and Private Music Lessons UK. I can also teach students Classical and advanced music theory to a high standard. I produce many of my own documents to aid students’ learning and use methodical but fun teaching methods. With a diverse knowledge of subjects such as music culture/history and technology, I aim to give students a broad overview of all things music related. Education: After working through the ABRSM Classical and Jazz grades, I began studying Music and Music Tech A levels at college. From 2014 to 2016, I was tutored by highly regarded industry professionals such as Brian Henry (Soul II Soul, Mica Paris) and Frank Tontoh (Amy Winehouse, George Michael) at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, where I achieved a 2:1 in Professional Music Performance. Experience: I have a wealth of experience teaching the piano (and music in general) to children and adults of all ages and abilities, either at home, in a school environment, or online. Resources: I have created many useful documents over the years, catering to people of all ages and abilities. I also produced a single document called 'Essential Music Theory' featuring lots of information about scales, chords, progressions, melodic features, improvisation and ear training. Teaching online: Online tuition is useful as it is convenient for both the student and the teacher, especially when they are many miles away from each other. I have taught many students via Zoom and find it to be a useful and enjoyable experience. I have access to a reliable, fast internet connection and know how to deal with any issues that may arise. I can play the piano in software like Logic Pro X and this can be heard very clearly by the student on the other end (any audio I play my end can be heard). Students can also see what notes/chords I'm playing via screen-sharing and an app called 'ChordieApp'.
