Our VTCT Beauty Therapy Course Level 2 is the foundation to start your beauty career, once completed you can then advance to our VTCT Beauty Therapy Course level 3. The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage is a substantial vocational qualification that will prepare you for a career as a beauty (Swedish massage) therapist. This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 years or over and will support you to gain employment as a beauty (Swedish massage) therapist as the units contained in this qualification cover all the skills and knowledge required for this role. Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 2 qualification in beauty therapy and/or a successful skills test and interview. This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a beauty massage therapist including, units covering the following: providing body massage, health and safety, anatomy and physiology and client care. Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, and client care. You will develop a range of technical skills enabling you to provide relaxing massage treatments using classical Swedish massage movements. During this 1 day course, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, using an AED, choking, shock, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries.

Understand and apply the Burce Protocol exercise test in relevant clinical situations. The Level 2 Award in Fire Safety is aimed at anyone who is involved in the management of fire safety or fire prevention in the workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders and fire marshals (or wardens).

Our first aid at work training courses are in accordance with guidance provided by the Health & Safety executive (HSE) and are both fun and informative. This qualification should enable Learners to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations. Learners should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of first aider. and include dynamic and realistic casualty simulation which puts the candidates through their paces. We hold the Emergency First Aid at Work at our Education Centre in Ellesmere Port. We are also able to teach this course 'in-house' at our clients preferred site. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
