Entry requirements For entry onto the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management qualification, learners will be expected to possess: A minimum of a Level 6 qualification such as the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent Level 6 qualification; or An honours degree (2.2) with relevant knowledge and experience in the occupational health and safety sector Learners must be 21 years or older at the beginning of the course. Delivery This distance learning course is flexible in its delivery and designed for part-time learning. Learners receive two core textbooks and access to our learning management system (LMS) where they can access range of learning resources to support them in their studies. Learners are allocated a tutor to support them in their studies and assess their assignment submissions. Assessment All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. The qualifications are criterion referenced, based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes. To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria.
