I love to experiment with printmaking techniques that can be done at home.
Currently though, I am really enjoying painting portraits using acrylics. This
is a painting of my husband Alexei and my dream dog.My name is Gaby Weigert.
From the start I spent every spare minute creating, making, cutting and
sticking. My favourite thing to do was when my parents asked me to look after a
visitor's younger child and I would create activities for them often creating a
lot of mess! I complete my degree at Glasgow School of Art in Textiles where I
got to experiment with loads of dyes, printing processes and techniques. I
continued my love of printmaking at Camberwell College of Art with an MA in Fine
Art Printmaking
