We may collect the information about you in the following circumstances: If you call our Contact Centre When you call our contact centre we collect Calling Line Identification (CLI) information. We use this information to help improve its efficiency and effectiveness. We record calls for training and monitoring purposes. Additionally, our call handlers will make a record of your call in order to manage your query. We may need to share information with other organisations within or outside ClwydAlyn in order to respond to your call, for example so that we can organise maintenance or repairs or other support. We will usually tell you if it is necessary for us to pass information on to other organisations. If you email us Any email sent to us, including any attachments, may be monitored and used by us for reasons of security and for monitoring compliance with office policy. Email monitoring or blocking software may also be used. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send to us is within the bounds of the law. If you make a complaint to us When we receive a complaint from a person we make up a file containing the details of the complaint. This normally contains the identity of the complainant and any other individuals involved in the complaint. We will only use the personal information we collect to process the complaint and to check on the level of service we provide. If a complainant doesn’t want information identifying him or her to be disclosed to any person that the complaint is about, we will try to respect that. However, it may not be possible to handle a complaint on an anonymous basis. If you use our services We hold the details of the people who request and use our services so that we can provide these services and for other closely related purposes. For example, we use information about our service users to develop and improve our services and to make sure we are delivering services to different groups fairly. If you apply for housing or become a tenant, there is certain information that we require in order to process your application and manage your tenancy. If you do not provide us with this information, we will not be able to progress your application. When you visit our websites We automatically collect certain information when you visit one of our websites. Please see Use of Cookies below for more information about this. When you use our customer portal, you are able to view information held in our housing management system, including personal details, account statements, tenancy information, repair history and pay your rent / service charges. Please note that we use a third party provider, Verseone to support our customer portal. Information we receive from others We work closely with other organisations, such as local councils, police forces, voluntary sector organisations, other housing providers and our contractors, and we may receive information about you from them. If you visit our premises We may ask you to sign in and out if you visit staff or residents at our premises. Access is controlled for the purposes of building and occupant security. Access is recorded to assist with fire and other evacuation procedures. Furthermore, your image may be captured on CCTV to monitor and collect visual images for the purpose of security and the prevention and detection of crime. If you use our Wi-Fi or computer to access our IT systems, access and activity may be monitored to prevent misuse of Group property, according to our IS Corporate policies. Job applicants When individuals apply to work for us, we will only use the information they supply to us to process their application and to monitor recruitment statistics. Where we want to disclose information to a third party, for example where we want to take up a reference or obtain a ‘disclosure’ from the Criminal Records Bureau we will not do so without informing them beforehand unless the disclosure is required by law. Personal information about unsuccessful candidates will be held for 12 months after the recruitment exercise has been completed; it will then be destroyed or deleted. We retain de-personalised statistical information about applicants to help inform our recruitment activities, but no individuals are identifiable from that data. Once a person has taken up employment with us, we will compile a file relating to their employment. The information contained in this will be kept secure and will only be used for purposes directly relevant to that person’s employment. Once their employment with us has ended, we will retain the file in accordance with the requirements of our retention schedule and then delete it. If you are a tenant, this includes managing your tenancy and dealing with any applications, queries or complaints that you make. Examples of how we use your information include: to confirm your identity to assess your suitability to access any of our services to manage your tenancy, care or support to ensure our properties are appropriately maintained and in accordance with legal obligations, such as periodic gas safety checks to notify you about important changes to our services to let you know about other relevant services, both ours and those of other parties whose products and services we have agreed should be made available to you (see the section below on 'Contacting you' for more information about this) to update and correct our records to carry out statistical and market analyses, including benchmarking exercises, to enable us to understand you better and improve our services, and in accordance with our operating Regulations to develop, test and improve our systems to ensure that content of our website is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer to administer our website and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes to comply with other legal obligations, such as Health and Safety laws or safeguarding vulnerable people We may combine information we receive from other sources with information you give to us for the purposes set out above (depending on the types of information we receive). 3.Contacting you We will use your contact information to send you important information via letters, emails, text messages, or otherwise to telephone you. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction; to obtain any professional advice; and/or with your consent. 5.Our legal basis for collecting, holding and using your information Data protection law sets out various lawful legal bases (or ‘conditions’) which allow us to collect, hold and use your personal information: Where you have entered into a contract or contracts with us, we may need to use your information to provide you with our services. An example of this is where you have a tenancy with us. Where we are under a legal obligation which requires us to process your personal information. An example of using your personal information with your consent is publishing your image as part of a photograph on our website. Finally, sometimes it is necessary to process your personal information for the purposes of our own legitimate interests. She has worked on the labour wards at St Mary’s hospital, Paddington and Chelsea and Westminster hospital, as well as in paediatrics. She looks after many young families in the central London area and maintains a keen special interest in paediatrics and women’s health. She is the mother of two young children and lives in Notting Hill. Marina hosts the Eight Week Antenatal Course in South Kensington. She supports and gets to know the participants over eight weeks, supporting the professionals and providing the practical advice and skills honed as a mother. She has two children, Ludo and Iona, and in spite of tragedy, (her son Willem was stillborn in 2014) she has become motherhood’s biggest advocate. As well as teaching Bump Classes, she writes regularly for various publications including The Telegraph, The Times, Baby London and Nurture Magazine about pregnancy and motherhood. She lives with her husband, the TV presenter Ben Fogle in Notting Hill. How many emotions can you name? How many do you think your children can name? Research suggests we learn around 6 emotion words when we are young to help express how we feel, then we stop! We don't learn anymore - even when we're teens or adults! We try to navigate life's ups and downs using approximately 6 words! No wonder we can feel a bit mixed up sometimes! Research also suggests that we are all born with the same set of emotions (primary emotions) and we learn others (secondary emotions) as we grow from the age of 2 or 3. These secondary emotions are learnt from our experiences, where we are from and from our caregivers. So after a number of years research, Headssup was set up in 2019 to do 2 things: 1. increase the emotional vocabulary of children from 6 words to 15 words & 2. to do that within a psychological framework that included primary and secondary emotions How did we do that? 1. We created a character called Emi (short for emotional intelligence). 2. Emi became a teddy (see left hand page). A soft, fluffy conversation starter or comforter. 3. We then created a children's book to help Emi explain what primary and secondary emotions are in a child friendly way. Helping our little ones to learn up to 15 words to help explain how they feel that are all psychologically framed - helping make more sense of how they and others feel. 4. Next we thought it would be nice to have Emi animated. So we created 2 minute animations to go with each story that you can log in to (see a short clip of one below). 5. But we didn't stop there. Communicating our emotions can be hard. And our emotions can be effected by our physical and social health. So Emi also helps children learn how to communicate their emotions in the next story ELASTIC and what they can do each day to stay physically healthy in the story HEALTHY ME and finally, how to stay socially healthy in the story BLOOM AND BLOSSOM. 6. ELASTIC, HEALTHY ME AND BLOOM AND BLOSSOM story books also come with a link to their own 2 minute animation. 7. Finally, for our cooler 9-11 year olds, we created a character called Feelix and his team. Feelix has 6 story books and animations and includes help with high school transitions and healthy friendships. 8. Beach South Volleyball Club focuses on beach volleyball training, and was started in the spring of 2012. The team had one coach and a handful of athletes. By the end of the season we had 20 athletes and had added a few great coaches. Beach South Volleyball History This club was started for several reasons. The main reason was born out of a love, Director, Scott Castevens had for the game. He wanted to see the game and beach volleyball training grow in the southeast, North Carolina specifically. At the time, Scott believed the beach volleyball training on sand would strengthen the Piedmont indoor volleyball program. He was a coach at Piedmont indoor. It would create and develop better all-around players who are not just good at one position/area. They would be able to pass, set, block, hit and serve effectively. Beach South Volleyball Recent Accomplishments In the spring of 2013 Beach South Volleyball Club had more than 100 athletes participating throughout the spring/summer. In 2014, we launched our College Development Program (CDP) which is a year round program designed for the athlete focused primarily on beach volleyball training and committed to the amount of training required to be in this program. This program has grown into multiple levels and has yielded many athletes who have gone on to play at the collegiate level. Over the past 7 years 100% of our graduating seniors have gone on to play at the collegiate level, most of them Division 1. In 2020 we had 12 Seniors, 11 going on to play at NCAA Division 1 programs and one going to play at a Division II program. Out of those 12, we had one player who went to the #1 team in the country at that time and 3 others who went to top 10 programs in the country. We are excited to continue to see athletes getting to continue what they love doing at the collegiate level and watching this sport grow. Blackpool HAZ Cultural Programme

WHAT IS THE HAZ? Blackpool’s Heritage Action Zone project is a partnership between Blackpool Council and Historic England. The project is aimed at using Blackpool’s heritage as a catalyst for bringing new and diverse uses to the town centre and giving a new relevance for both local communities and visitors alike. There are two different areas of focus in the project. FOCUS 1 The first is centred on historic buildings and how heritage can be used to improve the look and feel of the high street by restoring and enhancing historic buildings. This element builds on recent improvements in Topping Street, Edward Street and Deansgate in restoring buildings and their commercial frontages. The biggest focus of this part of the scheme is the Church Street Frontage of the Winter Gardens, where work to restore the Victorian commercial frontages to Empress Buildings has already begun. Other projects include the conversion of an Art Deco building on Topping Street to provide a community creative hub and converting part of the former Black’s building on Edward Street into live/work units where local artists and creatives can rent studio and retail space with living accommodation above. FOCUS 2 The second area is the implementation of a cultural programme and this is specifically to bring new activity to the high street and to engage local communities in creative activity. This programme is already working on delivering a regular market for local creatives and artists and setting up taster workshops for local people to try out different creative activities. Future work will look at performance, film and creative workshops as well as talks and tours focused on heritage and the past, present and future of Blackpool’s town centre. THE ZONE Blackpool’s High Street Heritage Action Zone is focused on a section of Church Street containing impressive groups of mid to late 19th Century public and commercial buildings and a wealth of incredibly diverse heritage assets some of which are of national and regional significance. The Grand Theatre and the Blackpool Winter Gardens and the areas around them form the main focus of this project. It also includes Cedar Square and parts of Edward Street, Topping Street and Deansgate. The historic built environment in Blackpool and in the identified HAZ area has been recognised as having significant economic benefits not just in terms of retail or visitor economy but through the potential to impact on the quality of life for local residents and the quality of experience for our visitors. The quality of the historic built environment within the proposed Blackpool HAZ promotes ‘civic pride’ acting as a reminder of how Blackpool has evolved historically.

Merseyside Polonia is the most recognised Polish not for profit organisation in the Northwest of England. It was established in 2009 as a charitable organisation. The organisation is based in Liverpool but the project and events often involve communities from other boroughs on both sides of the River Mersey. In the past few years, Merseyside Polonia has built up strong links with local authorities and services, arts and community organisations as well as other institutions and founders: among them Liverpool City Council, Polish Cultural Insititute in London or BBC Children in Need. The organisation was registered on 9th of June 2009 and is governed by a Board of Trustees. Merseyside Polonia governing documents are Memorandum and Articles of Association. Main objects of the organisation are: to raise awareness of the Polish Community and culture among the local community to support community development of Polish and other communities to build community cohesion by increasing understanding between communities representing different cultural backgrounds Areas of work ARTS Polish names such as Polanski, Chopin or Lem are well known worldwide. Our aim is to give you a chance to celebrate and experience contemporary Polish arts in Liverpool together. We support a range of activities across the arts – from literature and film festivals, reading groups, poetry slams, film premiers, to music concerts and dance workshops. In the past few years we have been working with local artists, well known Polish writers and filmmakers, storytellers, poets, musicians, UK based publishers, arts institutions, and venues. CULTURE A culture is a great tool for building strong relationships. We believe that a variety of events we offer give our participants an opportunity to engage and explore culture in many creative forms. We organise Family Arts and Crafts Workshops, celebrate Polish and English traditions, such as: Christmas, St Andrews Night, Polish Midsummer Festival, and more. Founded in 2006, Real Chinese Academy has been working towards all-around “student development, teacher development and school development”, upholding the principle of “quality-first”, and implementing the philosophy of integrating cultural awareness into language learning. In the past decade or so, we have enabled many students to acquire a broad knowledge of Chinese culture, and practical skills of using the Chinese language. At the same time, our team of dedicated teachers have raised their professionalism to a new level. Real Chinese Academy is going from strength to strength. To ensure high-quality teaching results, we group students based on their age, level of Chinese language and family background (native/non-native Chinese speaker). All teachers utilise multimedia method and self-designed entertaining materials to facilitate teaching and enhance students’ achievements. Wechat and WhatsApp chat groups for parents are created to strengthen parent-teacher communications. At the same time, we hold regular parents meetings to discuss students’ progress at school while listening to parents’ feedbacks. For parents’ convenience, relevant information will be posted on our official website. Homework and assignments will be published on our website to make it easier for parents to supervise their children. Besides Chinese language teaching, we are honoured to have a world-class renowned artist, Mr. Sheng Qi, to lead our Visual arts course. In addition, English actress Helen Hobson teaches our Public Speaking course, and dozens of students have achieved excellent results in LAMDA exams which lay the foundation for all-round development of students. Headmistress Ms. Zoe Xu, originally from Beijing, is a mother of two. She is well versed in the comparative research of Chinese and British education as well as family education. In the last two decades, she has written books related to education such as Please Don’t Do This to Your Children, Chinese Orphans and Their Foreign Parents, Alternative Route to Development, Ten Skills That Affect Your Child’s Fortune. All the titles are published in mainland China. Real Chinese is growing! From only six pupils at the very beginning for Mandarin only, we’ve grown to be two hundred strong. Every year some of our students take GCSE Chinese and each of them achieved A* grade. Real Chinese have developed from simple teaching to a broader field of education. The school has found a successful way of managing the Chinese language education as the core while valuing all-around education. The road ahead will be long and rugged, yet we shall search high and low, for the benefit of the community and the promotion of the Chinese language and culture.
