Windygoul Primary School is proud to be a Rights Respecting Bronze Award school in the south of Tranent, East Lothian. The school opened in August 2007 and currently has 24 classes from P1 to P7 and three nursery classes for 3 – 5 year olds.
Each year the Transition Years perform a musical. The musical is one of the many highlights of TY and gives students the opportunity to show off their talents and make some fantastic memories of their time in St Mary's.
Leigh Town Council have been running the Community Centre since 2012. The Centre hosts over 65 regular classes and meetings for a variety of different activities including monthly markets. The Centre also provides an affordable and exciting venue for events, parties and weddings. In addition regular children's activities are organised for the school holidays plus there is also our affordable cafe to enjoy. All in all a great community hub at the heart of Leigh
