About EIFA EIFA’s philosophy EIFA is an independent, international, secular school providing an English-French bilingual education. EIFA takes a child-centred approach to learning and encourages the linguistic diversity of its students – developing responsible global citizens, and promoting multicultural understanding through study in at least two languages. EIFA is the only school in the UK to teach all core subjects in English and French – from day nursery to year 13. Most parents would agree it is vital that our children grow up with an openness to, and a deep acceptance of different cultures. This must start with language. It is language that frames our lives and by being bilingual we gain an insight into other cultures. Language skills are also a powerful springboard when it comes to gaining admission into the most challenging universities and workplaces. At EIFA we foster open-minded and flexible citizens of the world who will find themselves at home in more than one culture, communicate in more than one language, understand the views of others and how these are shaped and mix with people of a variety of backgrounds and cultures. We encourage students to reflect on and accept responsibility for their own learning by presenting opportunities for inter-disciplinary research projects where they explore subjects of interest, employing critical thinking skills to select, analyse and evaluate different sources of information in order to offer solutions to the issues raised in class discussions. We equip each student with the requisite tools to achieve their potential by pursuing an internationally accredited education. We provide internationally recognised programmes in the iGCSE and the IB Diploma which encourage learners to acquire social skills as well as academic skills, and foster a desire to promote peace and understanding in our world. History EIFA was founded by Sabine Dehon, a teacher with more than 30 years of teaching experience, and Isabelle Faulkner, an international lawyer. They met in 2007 in London, when Isabelle was looking for a bilingual independent school and they started to talk about a vision for a rather different kind of offering. The vision was of a bilingual school, but one that would creatively combine the rigorous academic approach of the French curriculum with the breadth and excitement of the English one. Thus was EIFA born.

Our Development, Training and Support offer is designed to provide essential advice and guidance to enable your church school to flourish. This includes a range of briefings, network meetings and training courses, all of which are either free or offered at significant discount to schools who are signed up to our Service Level Agreement (S4S). In addition, schools who have signed up for Governance+ are able to access all our governor training for no additional charge. Living Your Vision This is the heart of our training and support offer covering the essentials needed to develop a flourishing church school. This work to support developing your school’s Christian vision and ethos includes training for SIAMS self-evaluation and other aspects of SIAMS readiness. It also covers a series of networks and training events to develop and enhance collective worship and spirituality (including Space Makers). HeadSpace This is where you will find our support and training offer for school leaders including our series of briefings (free to schools signed up to S4S) and conferences for our headteachers across the Diocese. Termly virtual briefing sessions will provide an opportunity to hear the latest news and information from the ODBE team including updates from the Church of England Education Office, up to date learning from ongoing SIAMS and Ofsted inspections and upcoming development opportunities. A virtual mini conference and an in-person summer conference provide additional opportunities for school leaders to consider specific aspects of church school leadership – our Autumn conference will look in depth at SIAMS and its impact on school improvement. RE Central Comprises all our development, training and support for the leadership and delivery of high quality RE in schools. This includes half termly networks for RE leaders (free to schools signed up to S4S), the Developmental Thinking conference and training for Early Career Teachers. Governance This is our governance training offer which covers the key aspects of effective governance including induction, SIAMS, RE and Collective Worship, effective monitoring and evaluation, appraisal, induction and academisation. Schools signed up to S4S, our service level agreement, are also able to buy Governance+ which enables all governors to attend our governor training at no additional cost. 0 Comments I founded The Local Teachers Ltd in 2015, with the vision to make education more accessible and convenient locally. At the Local Teachers, we helped over 25,000 students in the last 8 years to boost their grades and help them go to their desired universities, we have fostered partnerships with 13 schools in London and 3 councils to help them support pupils with our intervention tuition programs in sciences, Mathematics and English. With that same vision and passion, I have founded Ezy Edtech Ltd to purchase assets as part of the liquidation of EzyEducation Ltd via a CVL to make quality education more accessible in different ways. That purchase transfers the rights of the EzyEducation website, courses, and high-quality book stocks of 10,000 with a commercial value of £5-10 per book to Ezy Edtech Ltd. The goodwill and support of ex EzyEducation employees has also been secured. Moreover, we have renewed all suppliers’ contracts such as the Zapper app, which makes more accessible our revision pocket booklets by pulling the interactive videos lessons, and quizzes from our platform to iOS and Android devices which increasingly more and more students are relying on for their revision routines. The EzyEducation platform and customer relationships benefited from £2.5m of investment and reinvested earnings. This means that Ezy Edtech bypasses the development costs usually associated with start-ups. The platform is currently used by over 150 school users (subscriptions of £200,000 in 2019 and £130,000 during 2021 (revenue decreased due to COVID19 exam cancellations). Although EzyEducation Ltd ceased trading on 14/12/2021 the platform has remained in use through this period with zero disruption for customers. Over this period, we had 188,543 sessions, 90,103 users, and 3.25 million hits. This continuation of user engagement is a clear indication of the success we can build on moving forward. With that strong foundation for success, here are our short-term objectives. Children of Potentials International, operating as Children of Potentials, abbreviated as CoP is a not-for-profit organisation with international outlook. CoP’s international ambition to reach every child everywhere mean we work independently and collaboratively with other independent organisations with a shared aims, objectives and aspirations. In Ghana, the organisation operates independently as well as have joint-working with Children of Potentials Charity (CoPC) which is incorporated and recognised as an NGO, regulated by the country’s Department of Social Welfare. In Malawi, CoP has joint-working programmes with Centre For Childrens Affairs Malawi, an organisation working with children within Chikwawa area and throughout the country to raise educational outcomes and create awareness about issues affecting the welfare of children. Mission Statement Children of Potentials (CoP) believes that children possess enormous potential and abilities which should not be lost to themselves or the wider society due to lack of support and direction in utilizing such inherent traits. In this regard, CoP seeks to identify and support children, especially in poor communities to high levels of attainment in their education, health and socio-economic circumstances .
