As a professional association, we represent the voice of the UK education technology community in the schooling sector at a national and international level. We support individuals and groups throughout the education landscape by providing resources for courses and research, and encouraging reflection and professional development. Who is Naace? Naace members and sponsoring partners work in both public and private sectors. They represent a range of professions in the education sphere including teachers, school managers, curriculum leaders, lecturers, local authority advisors, independent consultants, software developers and designers, sales personnel, technicians, student teachers, company managers, national partners and colleagues from commerce and industry. Our members and sponsoring partners share a passion for embedding the effective use of technology into teaching, learning and school management. 32 organisations in Scotland have a mandate from the Scottish Government to deliver a TSI remit. Some of these organisations are mainly focussed on their roles as TSI’s, while for others, the TSI remit is only a very small part of what they do within the voluntary and community space. What they have in common is that they deliver their TSI roles in line with the Scottish Government’s Third Sector Interface Outcome Framework. This document, published in September 2018, sets out clearly the strategic leadership role TSI’s have in their local communities and the activity that is funded by Scottish Government. There are 4 aspects to our role; Being a central source of knowledge – 3rd sector, national and local policy. Ensuring the local third sector has a strong voice at a strategic level – locally and nationally. Builds the capacity of volunteering, voluntary and community organisations and social enterprise to achieve positive change. Connection – providing leadership, vision and coordination to the local third sector, including through partnership and collaboration.

The Courtyard vision: To offer an outstanding educational and social provision that will equip our students with the skills and experiences needed to discover and live out their potential. The Courtyard School is a free school for students with special educational needs. The students who attend the school have a diagnosis of autism spectrum condition and/or speech, language and communication needs. We provide a personalised curriculum for up to 54 students, aged 13-19. Each student who attends the school follows an individual curriculum depending on a number of factors, which include academic ability, social and communication skills and strengths. Due to our inclusive relationship with St Mary Magdalene Academy, we are able to offer a broad range of mainstream qualifications subject to an initial assessment. We are also able to offer a therapeutic element to the curriculum, through our links with CAMHS, the Local Authority Educational Psychology and Speech and Language teams, the Islington Learning Disability Partnership and our on-site art therapy service. All students are provided with a keyworker to oversee all their pastoral needs.

We aim to inform the development of policy and practice by promoting the best quality evidence produced by educational research.  Our vision is for educational research to have a profound and positive influence on society. We support this by promoting and sustaining the work of educational researchers. Our membership, which is more than 2,500 strong, includes educational researchers, practitioners and doctoral students from the UK and around the globe.  Founded in 1974, BERA has since expanded into an internationally renowned association. We strive to be inclusive of the diversity of education research and scholarship, and welcome members from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds, theoretical orientations, methodological approaches, sectoral interests and institutional affiliations. Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC™) is an innovative and powerful coaching model based on Relationship Systems Intelligence (RSI™). A ‘relationship system’ is any interdependent group of people, sharing a common identity or function. We are all part of many different systems. In our organisations, our teams, our families, our intimate relationships and the wider society. Everything is interconnected. If something changes in one area of a system, it will have effects in places that often we won’t expect. ORSC is a methodology that combines ‘systems thinking’ with coaching. By becoming an ORSC practitioner, you will become aware of your own impact on the bigger picture and be able to consciously design your relationships. You will learn an invaluable set of tools to coach others to do the same. The Five Modules of ORSC All ORSC journeys begin with either the Fundamentals or ORS@Work module. Both introductory courses are based on the same set of skills and principles. Fundamentals is geared more toward personal coaching, therapy, or social work applications. ORS@Work is designed specifically with HR, OD, LD, business coaching or consulting in mind. Fundamentals or ORS@Work— teaches five key ORSC tools, including how to coach the Third Entity. Intelligence— provides a robust toolkit for increasing emotional resilience in the face of change. Geography — explores how to recognise and nurture the structures of relationships. Path — explores how to create a shared vision and a strategic plan for achieving it. Systems Integration— brings all the pieces together and provides a learning space to hone skills to work towards mastery. The subsequent four courses in the series must be studied in sequential order, as content layers and builds with each module. On completion of the five modules, students may choose to pursue ORSC certification. Whatever work we do, we are always in relationship. Through ORSC training we learn the concepts, skills and tools to be more effective with others. A ‘relationship system’ is any interdependent group of people, sharing a common identity or function. Psychologists might refer to a ‘collective consciousness’. Business consultants might talk about a ‘corporate culture’. Therapists would likely address ‘family dynamics’. All are ways of referring to what we call the Third Entity.

WORLD VETERINARY SERVICE The Worldwide Veterinary Service works tirelessly across the globe to ensure that no animal goes uncared for. REFUWEEGEE Refuweegee was set up in December 2015 to provide a warm welcome to forcibly displaced people arriving in Glasgow. ANIMAL AID Animal Aid campaigns peacefully against all forms of animal abuse and promote cruelty-free living. SCOTTISH REFUGEE COUNCIL Through our direct services we provide practical support, advice and a listening ear to help people rebuild their lives in a sustainable and meaningful way. ONE KIND OneKind exists to end cruelty to Scotland’s animals. We expose cruelty and persecution through our investigations and research, and end it for good by giving Scotland’s animals a voice.
