To this end, I want to explore the relationship between health, healing, and sanity – all derived from the same etymological root – and how psychotherapy is not concerned with “treating illnesses,” but with furthering authenticity in our lives. Dr. Michael Guy Thompson, PhD, received his psychoanalytic training from R. D.
