Access to Heritage, Art and Culture’ (Athac CIC) is a social enterprise providing cultural access support services to children, young people and adults with disabilities along with support for carers. We also support families from disadvantaged backgrounds to access enriching activities. ATHAC offers a safe environment for children and young people and adults to access cultural activities that they might not otherwise have done, Parents have the chance to enjoy activities together with confidence knowing their children are receiving high-quality opportunities. Adults with learning disabilities and autism are able to develop their creative skills whilst developing friendships through out timetable of activities, All our activities are adapted as each new individual joins the sessions to ensure we remain agile and accessible to all.

Our company Planet Soccer, and its sister company Sports7, is hugely passionate about sports and ensuring all children develop a level of physical competence and team work that will equip them for life. Planet Soccer was established in 1999 as a football coaching company for children from 5-18 years old but we now teach a variety of sports in PE lessons in schools and coach football, as well as other sports, during before & after school clubs. We also provide holiday camps in a range of schools that we coach in. We established the name Sports7 for our PPA teaching and some of our sports clubs so that schools and parents understand that we coach a wide variety of sports in addition to football.

Hi there! I’m Karen Holmes, manager and owner of Play Academy. In the Summer of 2019, my life took a huge, exciting turn when I took on this wonderful club. Up until then, I had spent 20 years as a very happy & successful Primary School teacher. During my time as a teacher, I had the pleasure of working with many, many children across the primary age range. I also trained as a student mentor and worked alongside trainee teachers supporting & developing practice. In addition to this I was also responsible for the PSHE curriculum across the whole school, an area I am still massively passionate about. Whilst building my career as an educator, I was also bringing up my two gorgeous sons Toby & Zach. Because I was juggling being a mum with being a teacher, I fully understand the desire parents have for quality wrap around care for children; it’s something my husband and I accessed for our two lovely boys during their primary years. As my career progressed and opportunities were being put in front of me, I paused for a bit and realised that teaching was no longer for me. I was spending less and less time doing the things that had steered me into teaching in the first place; planning, creating & facilitating new and fun quality experiences for children. I wanted to get back to just having ‘fun’ with little people, blowing bubbles, building dens, playing boards games, enjoying the outdoors and most of all…….laughing! To allow children a comfortable, home from home space to practise being good citizens, develop key life skills and master the art of a two way conversation.

We are an independent multidisciplinary centre offering children’s therapy services in the South East of England, Kent, East Sussex, as well as nationally and internationally. We have an expanding team of highly specialised professionals offering assessment and treatment for children. In addition, we offer support to families, carers and to schools. Our team includes Paediatric Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Play Therapists, CBT practitioners, Psychotherapists, Behaviour consultants, Neurofeedback Practitioners, Clinical Nutritionists and an Audio Vestibular Consultant. We collaborate with Educational Psychologists, Optometrists, Special Education Needs Coordinators (Sencos), Touch Typing specialists and many others. Starjumpz offers an integrated and holistic approach to helping and empowering children, young people and their families. The services offered assist those with developmental, learning, motor and/or behavioural difficulties. Amongst many therapeutic approaches we offer, we specialise in Sensory Integration Therapy and have therapy rooms equipped to the highest standards by our partner, Rompa, the leading UK Sensory Rooms designer and supplier. We also offer Neurofeedback treatment for both children and adults. We are building on the work of the Christmas Childrens Clinic established in 1989, by Jill Christmas, Occupational Therapist and author of ‘Hands on Dyspraxia’ and ‘Sensory Dinosaurs’. Based in Crowborough, East Sussex, we offer therapy in the centre and also in schools and children’s homes. We also offer intensive therapy to clients from all over the UK and abroad who come to visit and stay for courses of intensive treatment. Top Class Computers has 29 years of experience in providing help and support with assistive software or hardware for people with a disability who use a computer. The company was founded in 1993 by Neil Sleight, shortly after being made redundant! He had previously worked in the computer industry for 20 years, but became interested in software and equipment for children with a disability following the birth of his son James, who has Down’s Syndrome. (James is now doing well in supported living in Witney, after attending the excellent Derwen College in Shropshire). Although we tend to specialise in technology such as voice recognition and screen reading, we are available to help and support anyone with a disability, and voice recognition software is now in widespread use at home, university, or in the workplace.
