World Ju Jitsu Federation Ireland teaches a mix of kicking, punching throws and locks. The system has evolved from a combination of old Ju Jitsu styles which the Federation’s Founder, Soke Robert Clark, researched and trained in for many years. He took the best of everything and developed it into a complete training syllabus with belt grades. With his permission, David Toney developed the system further writing three training manuals, the first of which Soke Clark wrote a glowing endorsement for. We feel, over the years, our style of ju-jitsu has developed into one of the most comprehensive self defence systems available. OUR EXPERIENCE As we have developed as an organisation, we have been proactive in targeting more females to join and coach, and now are proud to have a coaching team of both sexes with a top tier of Master Grade instructors. Senior Club Instructors have been vetted by Access NI, hold full professional training qualifications, and Public Indemnity insurance, and each club must have a qualified first aider on hand at all times. We are ahead in our field by ensuring our coaches are equipped to meet the needs of those with varying ability and disability and those with learning difficulties. All of our affiliated clubs are recognised by the Governing Body for the Sport in Northern Ireland, and as such follow their policies and procedures. WHERE WE ARE We have approximately 70 clubs throughout Ireland and are part of the WJJF-WJJKO 1976 which has member bodies in countries all over the world. We not only offer you an opportunity to train in one of our clubs, offer private lessons and self-defence courses, but we also have courses, seminars and social occasions throughout the year, along with opportunities to travel to our sister-organisations to train and visit other countries.

Our DRIVER CPC courses are now available both ONLINE via remote connection or in our Classroom in Burnley. Each 7 hour course will be delivered as a full 7hr session taking a full day whether online or in the classroom. Course timings are generally from 08:15 for registration with the courses starting at 08:30 and ending at 16:30, of course we will be having breaks throughout the day. ONLINE COURSES. In order to take part online, you MUST have access to either a Laptop, Computer or Tablet (we do not recommend the use of Mobile Phones) with webcam, speakers and microphone, and be able to install the ZOOM App (ZOOM ). ONLINE courses are currently £40.00 per day. CLASSROOM COURSES. Our classroom based courses are held in our Training Centre in BURNLEY. We have introduced Covid-Secure practices such as social distancing, increased ventilation and of course hand sanitising. We will do our best to keep you safe. CLASSROOM courses are currently £60.00 per day. Check out our CALENDAR page to see all the dates we have coming up along with number of available spaces. You can book via our website which requires a payment of £40.00 per booking to be made online via PayPal (No PayPal account needed - just use your card). Any balance payment due will need to be made before the course start date, but we will contact you about that. If you would like to book multiple dates and don't want to book each one individually, send us an email or call us on 07730 658280 with the dates you need and we will arrange the bookings. You will still need to pay in advance, but it will only be a single payment.

ClayKilnCraft is an independent educational and training pottery set in the heart of Crystal Palace, South East London. Started in 2014 by ceramic artist Aliya Rashid giving wheel lessons in her studio for beginners, the company has evolved into a thriving creative space teaching people of all abilities to throw, handbuild and explore their inner artist while improving and building on their skills. After graduating in Ceramics at Camberwell College of Art with a first class honours degree, Aliya fell into teaching by accident after she was recommended by a friend to teach pottery at a centre 
for special needs adults in London. ‘It was a very challenging, but rewarding experience. I came away from that summer project completely humbled. I knew I wanted to do more. ‘It started small, with monthly lessons. When my students wanted more I found space in a basement converted toilet! And yes, it was as grim as it sounds. When it rained the smell was… very pungent! ‘I was thrilled to find the shop I’m in now. It’s taken a lot of hard work to get it to this stage. It’s all been done with sheer hard work, doing two jobs to finance everything. This is an independent studio and I’m determined it should stay that way. The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and supportive whatever my students aims are. The studio is looking fantastic and the facilities improve on a weekly basis. ‘As well as core courses and classes for beginners and intermediates, we now offer open access to people of all abilities. The studio helps people to develop at their own pace to make what interests them whether they are hobby potters and just want to relax after a hard days work or they are serious potters looking to sell or exhibit their work. Malearn offer accredited qualifications and short courses to local residents and childcare businesses. Our Trainers, Assessors and IQAs have a wide range of experiences working in different roles within the education, quality assurance and childcare sector. Malearn qualifications are accredited by Training Qualification UK (TQUK). All our accredited qualifications are regulated through Ofqual. We also offer flexible learning qualifications. Learners will have direct access to an allocated Assessor, who will ensure that they have a positive learning journey. Learners will benefit from regular tutorial, workplace visit and ongoing support for the full duration of the programme. Learners enrolled on our early years and childcare qualifications will receive face-to-face assessment in their work environment, as part of their programme. Our fees include registration, certificate, allocated Trainer/ Assessor and learning resources. In addition, we offer short courses at an affordable price. These short courses are not accredited. However, some are endorsed by CACHE for an additional fee, if the learner wish. These courses are excellent CPD opportunities for any persons in the childcare, business and care sector.
