Our cycling cafe The cycling café, in the heart of Harrogate, Yorkshire, shows live races or iconic footage from the past. We serve as a meeting space for road cyclists. Groups, clubs and friends can gather pre-, during or post-ride and enjoy lunch or coffee and cake sourced from some of North Yorkshire’s best producers. Our workshop Our workshop, run by talented mechanics, will service and repair your bike to the highest standard. They also provide expert advice on custom builds or tailor to your specification. We provide a safe place for young people in the district to come for recreational activities, computer access, fitness, education, counselling and advice from trained professionals. We also provide an affordable venue for local groups and residents from the district to hire for fitness and social activities. In June 2013, Wokingham Borough Council announced that all but two of their youth centres and clubs would have to close due to budget cuts. On July 2nd 2013 concerned residents and users of the centre came together to form the Twyford Youth Centre Steering Group which nominated seven trustees who, with the support of Wokingham Borough Council, established a new charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) called Twyford District Youth and Community Centre. This was formed in January 2014. Registered charity number: 1155243. The charity has an 'association model' constitution which means that anyone interesting in furthering the charity's purposes can apply to become a member, giving them voting rights at general meetings and at the AGM - to be held annually in November.

Hello! and a very warm welcome to Carlisle Snow Sports Club’s website. Thank you for dropping by to visit us! We are a small Dendex Dry ski slope situated in the heart of Carlisle. Carlisle Snow sports club can offer skiing lessons for children, adults, groups and private lessons. ABOUT OUR SLOPE! The main slope is designed for day and night skiing, equipped with flood lights, sprinkler system and ski tow. It has slalom markers for all the racers and a small set of bumps for the more adventurous skiers. LOCATION Carlisle Snow sports club is situated in the grounds of Carlisle cricket club, Eden side CA3 9NS. We have our own club house and car park with disabled access. All our instructors for scheduled and or private lessons are fully BASI and or CASI/CSIA qualified to ensure high quality in every lesson taught at our slope. We believe that the best way for snow sports skills to grow and develop are to keep our lessons fun, relaxed and exciting!

In 2016, I began offering workshops in my studio, located just outside of Coggeshall and a few miles from Colchester. The converted barn provides a creative and supportive hub where I teach groups of up to twelve. Many of my structured textile workshops are taught across one or two days, but I do provide longer, design oriented textile courses and I mentor several groups on an ongoing basis. As my background is in creative textiles all the workshops I offer both in the studio and as a visiting tutor involve free motion embroidery with a design approach. More recently I have begun to take on other textile tutors and I now can offer a much larger range of textile courses including dressmaking, pattern cutting, felting, modern patchwork & Quilting as well as hand embroidery and decorative textiles. As well as textiles I have expanded the workshop itinerary and now offer illustration, lino printing, fused glass and silver clay jewellery on a regular basis with local, fabulous tutors. I hope that regardless of what experience level you have, you will still find something to suit you. So whether you are a beginner or more advanced in your chosen craft, take a look at the full range of workshops available. If you are unsure as to whether you will be able fully participate in a class, then simply get in touch and I would be happy to advise on what is best for you to do. While the majority of the workshops available through this site are based at my studio, I do travel and teach regularly in other local venues and I am happy to go further a field. This allows me to reach more students and collaborate with others, which is something I love to do. I offer a range of structured one and two day workshops to beginners through to more experienced in machine embroidery. Do get in touch if you are a Guild or textile group to discuss your groups requirements and I am a happy to send you a list of workshops I offer. Back to the studio – the current range of workshops will grow over time and I hope to continue offering a wider variety of subjects so if there is something you are interested in but can’t see listed, get in touch! If I have something in high demand, I will do what I can to arrange a workshop around this.
