WE ARE A GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS THAT PROMOTE THE IMPORTANCE OF BIODIVERSITY IN THE URBAN AREA We design and build bespoke healthy, productive and environmentally sensitive landscapes beneficial to people, nature and everything else inbetween. Our aim is to raise the awareness of urban biodiversity through educational, practical and creative projects. We do this through: Landscape Design & Build Beekeeping Training Horticulture & Gardening Arts Projects Sale of Environmental products We naturally work on a 'bottom-up' approach with communities, schools and groups. This enables individuals to have more of say on the design and create processes during their learning and development of a project.

South East Wales Biodiversity Records Centre (SEWBReC) is the Local Environmental Records Centre for the collation, management and dissemination of biodiversity data for Gwent and Glamorgan. Our aim is to make appropriate local biodiversity information available to all those who need it, to help ensure that decisions which affect local biodiversity are made using the best available data. We achieve this aim by: Supporting the local biological recording community and helping them to manage and mobilise the wealth of information they gather; Working with a wide range of organisations to collate and computerise the data they hold; Collating and managing these diverse data sets in a central location; and Delivering a range of innovative and tailored biodiversity information products and services to meet the needs of our users. SEWBReC covers the vice-counties of Gwent (VC35, aka Monmouthshire) and Glamorgan (VC41). Our Unitary Authorities are: Blaenau-Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Swansea, Torfaen and Vale of Glamorgan*. *We follow the border of the Brecon Beacons National Park, so some of these areas are cropped; please use the Find a LERC tool if you are unsure whether you / your project falls within the SEWBReC area.

Operation Wallacea is a biodiversity and climate research organisation. For 25 years it has run biodiversity field expeditions to support the research of hundreds of academics and funded from tuition fees paid by students that then gain experience of working with publishing scientists. Nearly 600 papers in peer reviewed journals have been published from these research programmes.

The global children and youth initiative was launched in 2007 by the then 9-year old Felix Finkbeiner. Plant-for-the-Planet aims to inspire and enable the world to bring back a trillion trees and thus help mitigate the devastating effects of the climate crisis. The initiative's vision is to lead the global mobilisation for forest landscape restoration as a natural climate solution and method of ecosystem restoration. To achieve this aim, the Climate Justice Ambassadors (children and youth that are active in the name of Plant-for-the-Planet) give speeches and spread the mission statement of Plant-for-the-Planet by modern communication channels, via personal contact, Plant-for the-Planet Academies, social media outlets, workshops and other digital means.
