About Me – CranioSacral Therapy, Energy Healing, Cacao Ceremonies & Vagus Nerve Regulation in London, UK I’m Steph Edwards — a holistic healer, bodyworker, and trauma-informed space holder based in the UK, devoted to guiding you into deeper healing, emotional balance, and spiritual connection. My journey began in 2012 in Singapore, Asia, where I trained in 2013 as a Reiki healer and became a Western Usui Reiki Master Teacher and Jikiden Reiki Practitioner. Reiki became the foundation that awakened my path — restoring joy, deepening my spiritual connection, and sparking a lifelong calling to help others heal. Over the years, my work has expanded to embrace a multipule of modailities, the main being CranioSacral Therapy, trauma-informed soft bodywork, and vagus nerve regulation techniques to help ease anxiety, release stress, and restore nervous system balance. I work intimately with Mother Nature’s heart-opening plant medicine — Ceremonial Cacao — facilitating powerful cacao ceremonies in London that blend meditation, breathwork, Sound and self-enquiry. MY PHILOSOPHY I'm passionate about how the therapeutic relationship can facilitate insight and believe in the human capacity for change. My philosophy is that every person has worth, the right to decide their own future and a person should feel safe and secure in order to explore their sense of self. If a person is provided with the right conditions for growth - they'll always move towards change The type of therapy I offer is relational, person-focussed and yet challenging – meaning I work with a wide variety of presenting issues. I have worked with a diversity of clients and mental health concerns - predominantly age 16+, experiencing anxiety, low mood, depression, trauma, grief, loneliness or difficulties in interpersonal relationships. I believe that through understanding how you are in the world, you can create a greater self-awareness and understanding for self and other. I describe myself as fascinated by the stories people tell themselves & of themselves, and the affect of interpersonal relationships. Alongside being a psychotherapist, I’m also an EMDR Therapist. EMDR (Eye movement desensitisation & reprocessing) is now part of WHO & NICE guidelines and part of the suite of therapies offered by the NHS. At 18 I moved to the US to study. Growing up in France, the move was about fulfilling my dream of exploring a far-off mysterious land and taking my first bold steps into independent adulthood. My studies in travel and tourism led me to working for a travel agent, which taught me that I enjoyed working with customers to help them find what was best for them. Back in France, I studied and worked in sales, but I soon discovered that I was more interested in helping people find the right product than making money for someone else. So, I transferred into business management and human resources. At the time I didn’t know much about this field, but it was the course that stood out to me as being all about people. When I finished my Masters degree, I realised I wanted to leave France again and spotted an opportunity in London. I started my career working with an empowering manager who gave me the opportunity to develop my self-awareness and grow as a professional. Amongst other things, she offered me to be coached.

Each childhood absorbs parenting styles and patterns that not even we are aware of and we often carry emotional baggage that we then pass on to our children. In today’s modern parenting we worry so much about our child and try to ‘fix’ them. We often micro-manage their lives as we believe this will help them to be happy and successful. We put onto our child our ‘stuff’. Parenting more consciously starting with self-awareness, we begin to parent from a more grounded and conscious way. It feels lighter with less anxiety and conflict. Our child will be able to live more authentically, absorbing less of our fears. We can start to break patterns that we repeat time and time again. This approach can not only change the way you parent, but it will help with all the relationships in your life. It will help free our children so they can grow into resilient and compassionate adults with self worth, knowing they are ‘good enough’.
