The British Horse Society Riding School and Livery Yard approval has been once again been granted to Rowanlea. This year the BHS requirements for approval were a lot more demanding to improve riding schools and livery yards in general. Rowanlea was pleased to receive this new and upgraded approval for 2022. Rowanlea has been an approved BHS Centre and Riding School since the 1970's. Well done to all those concerned oin helping to achieve this approval and also to the development of Rowanlea Riding School and Livery Yard.

Welcome Sidney Stringer Academy caters for 1450 students aged 11-19 including a large sixth form. The Academy opened in September 2010 and moved into our new building in 2011. The school was originally a sponsored academy but in 2014 following an Ofsted inspection which judged the academy to be outstanding we became a sponsor in our own right. Sidney Stringer is now the lead school in the Sidney Stringer Multi Academy Trust and there are currently 5 schools in the trust: Ernesford Grange Community Academy, Radford Primary Academy, Riverbank Academy (Special School) and Sidney Stringer Primary Academy. All of the schools are working together with the aim of providing an outstanding education for all of our pupils. Our ambition at Sidney Stringer Academy is to create a vibrant, happy and successful academy which delivers the very highest standards of education and nurtures each student’s talents and skills and plays a central role in meeting the needs of our local community. Sidney Stringer Academy is a very successful school. We have been judged as OUTSTANDING by Ofsted in all categories. We are currently very oversubscribed and an extremely popular local school.
