THE ANTITHESIS OF A DIGITAL WORLD Beth Lloyd-Wright is a part-time studio ceramicist inspired by art and travel. She makes small batches of hand-built items, for interior addicts and gourmands. Beth uses stoneware clay to create pots, plates, platters, jugs and vases that are both practical and impactful in the home and on the foodie table. The art of ceramics can also aid positive mental health, which Beth believes is key to achieving work-life balance. She offers one-off mindful ceramics workshops to help others gain balance after a busy day.

This reliance on stereotypes reinforces dangerous misconceptions and limits society’s understanding of what it actually means to be autistic. We take a tailored approach and place our emphasis on authenticity and lived experience as autistic people. We commit to delivering bespoke, practical solutions which take the breadth of diversity in the autistic and wider neurodivergent community into account. This community is at the centre of everything we do. We will never claim to be experts in anyone’s lives but our own, and firmly believe that it is not our place to speak for others; instead amplifying their voices and bringing attention to under-represented parts of the community. A philosophy of harmony and one-ness Using the mindful practices of philosophical traditions across the world to make life more satisfying, interesting and fulfilling The School of Philosophy Cambridge was started in The 1990s to provide a convenient way for people in Cambridgeshire to explore Practical Philosophy. It was formed as a branch of The School of Philosophy and Economic Science in London See the bottom of this page for some thoughts from current students. The method used is based on a well-known principle that real understanding arises only through practical experience. Each student is therefore encouraged neither to accept nor reject the Philosophical principles of the East and West that are set before them, but to put them into practice and evaluate their worth on the basis of what they find. The Philosophical traditions from which this approach to Philosophy is drawn are far reaching; from Plato, Socrates and the Stoics, to Zen and the Advaita Philosophy of India, up to contemporary Philosophic thinking Students at The School of Philosophy Cambridge meet each week in discussion groups with a tutor, who is also a student of the school. None of our Philosophy tutors receive any payment for teaching; their time is given freely.

We are a small‚ family run company with a passion for electroplating‚ electroforming, metal finishing and providing a great service‚ not only to our own customers but anyone who needs help or advice. Gateros Plating started‚ as most things do‚ as a hobby. We have been restoring motorbikes for a long time‚ during our restorations‚ most of our metal parts had been sent to industrial platers. We found that there was a large gap between the price of the service and the quality of finished part we received.
