We started Karma Care because we know how hard it can be for young people to get the right support and the right environment to thrive. Over the past 10 years our staff have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge working with young people with a range of different complexities, Young offenders, care leavers, mental health issues, NEET, abuse victims. Karma Care have built up strong relationships with external agencies/organisations and are qualified to manage high level as well as low level support. Our team have mentors who specialise in youth and gang violence, education, training and employment, selfcare & mindfulness, ABA boxing coach, fitness & diet nutrition, football coaching, hairdressing, life skills and 1-2-1 mentoring.

In partnership with Brent Council, we are very excited to announce SAY Adventure, a free 4-month programme accessible to all young people from Brent between the ages of 12-19! SAY Adventure consists of empowering workshops delivered by qualified facilitators from diverse communities and professions, including teaching, medicine, leadership coaching, business ownership, media broadcasting and youth work. There will be a focus on developing young people’s identity, belonging and sense of cultural competency as a way of increasing their confidence in carving out a future in modern multicultural Brent and Britain. SAY Adventure will also be an opportunity to get to know other young people in the community and ultimately have fun, with free lunch provided to those in attendance. John Watters - Managing Director and Chief Instructor has been a qualified First Aider for over 20 years, six of which were spent in the Royal Air Force. He has been a Cadet First Aid Instructor for over 3 years, and has found that First Aid is a very useful Skill for everyone to have. As a result, John decided to start 1st Aid Training (North West) Ltd with the aim of delivering Professional First Aid Training to everyone. One of the companies main areas of Focus is Young People, as John believes that everyone should know at least some First Aid. 1st Aid Training (North West) Ltd is actively working with Local Schools in order to take First Aid to Young People, to give them confidence and an early start on the First Aid Learning Ladder.

Seasons for Growth is based on the belief that change, loss and grief are a normal and valuable part of life. We need to be able to examine how it impacts our lives. Seasons for Growth provides the opportunity for each participant to integrate the appropriate knowledge, skills and attitudes to understand and cope with loss and grief. This takes place in a like-to-like peer support setting. It is not counselling or therapy. This is an early intervention peer support education programme particularly suited to addressing variety of emotional and behavioural issues and reducing the amount of children and young people who require specialist help
