This International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine accredited qualification teaches the skills, knowledge and competence required of an individual in order to work with clients on specific breathing techniques in both 1:1 or group sessions. Learners will cover: The anatomy of the lungs; gaseous exchange; the breath-brain connection and the physical and mental benefits of breathwork. How to hold space for breathwork; creating a trauma-informed space and basic facilitation skills. How the breath impacts the vagus nerve and its connection to the parasympathetic nervous system. This course covers the basics of dog grooming. In addition to 5 days at our school, there are 2 written modules, grooming diaries and 1 assessment at the end of the 5 days. The 5 days on this course count as part of the 15 day Certificate or the 30 day Diploma if you wish to upgrade. This qualification is aimed to introduce students to dog grooming, and give you a taste of what being a dog groomer could be.
