We offer a range of courses for First Aid, Environmental Causes and Scuba Diving.    Our First Aid Courses (Emergency First Response) follow the latest guidelines from ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation). Courses are delivered with presentations, videos, skill demonstrations (where applicable) followed by skill practice by the student (where applicable). Some course will have home study in them also. Our First aid and Oxygen Administrator courses are a delivered in a structured way, building a foundation and build on the knowledge learned from previous modules.    At the end of the course* the student will get a certification card from one of the leading diver training agencies with over 50 years of teaching experience behind it. Don't be put off though most of our courses are designed for non-Divers as well.  We don't just stop after qualification; we are an active resource for our students by offering a student login*. As long as you have taken a qualifying course within the last 2 years you gain access to the student login area and have access to documents and videos relevant to your qualification. Based in Llanberis, in the heart of Snowdonia National Park; Mountain Independence specialise in running rock climbing, mountaineering and Mountain Training Qualification courses. Our ethos is to run fun, friendly and relaxed courses helping people develop the confidence and skills to enjoy their own adventures in the outdoors. Stu Lade, Mountain Independence Mountain Independence is run by Stuart Lade, I’m a keen climber and mountaineer of nearly 20 years with adventures throughout the UK and across the world. From starting out instructing in a number of climbing walls I have progressed through the Mountain Training schemes to gain both the Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor and the Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor awards, the two highest qualifications for climbing and mountaineering activities in the UK. I specialise in climbing, mountaineering and hill walking activities and throughout my career I have, and continue to, work freelance for numerous organisations instructing and coaching clients at all levels. I work on the majority of courses, but you will also benefit from the input of other carefully selected staff members from time to time. We only use qualified instructors, with extensive local mountain experience; and a passion for sharing their knowledge with others. Additionally all our staff are dedicated professionals, being members of AMI / MTA and engaging in continuing professional development; not to mention being friendly folk : ) Our ethos for Mountain Training qualifications courses is not only to use highly qualified and experienced instructors, but also current and active freelancers doing the work of the award schemes that they are delivering. Whilst physical events are not possible at the moment, we are running a series of Mello Mondays; a virtual event held via Zoom Webinar of great investor content. There will be at least 15 Mello Monday evening events over the course of the year to October 2021. We have two scheduled for November and there will be one or two every month except August next year. Mello Monday will provide premium investor content that you will not find anywhere else. It will be a mix of interviews presentations and panel sessions that will stimulate, educate, facilitate, and amuse in equal measure. We will invite top fund managers, entrepreneurs, and company representatives, to share their wisdom and knowledge. Additionally, we bring the most recent IPO’s, and product launches into our investor network. Investors will be encouraged to network together and audience participation with Q&A is at the heart of Mello.
