The Infant Feeding Team The UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative works with health care professionals to provide parents with the best support to build close and loving relationships with their baby, and to feed their baby in ways that support optimum health and development. We were re-accredited as a Gold service in January 2020! Return with your baby for extra help. The infant feeding team run antenatal breastfeeding workshops every week and more information can be found under related links. Part of the role of the team is to provide ongoing training and support to the midwives and maternity support staff around infant feeding as well as write and update the guidelines and policies. This means any of the staff are able to answer your questions and you can expect to receive consistent and evidence based support from your community and hospital team throughout your pregnancy and in the early days after having your baby. If your midwife or other health care professional feels you would benefit from more specialist support they will put in a referral to our team. We aim to get in touch as soon as possible during the working week after the referral has been received. There are baby friendly champions in every ward area and community team within maternity. They are staff who attend regular updates and disseminate key information to the people they work with to ensure you receive the most up to date information on infant feeding. During pregnancy

Paper artist Susan Beech creates beautifully delicate crepe paper flowers and botanicals from her home in Hove, UK. She founded her studio A Petal Unfolds in 2016. Each flower and botanical piece is unique, with every petal cut from the finest crepe papers and intricately shaped by hand. Ink, pastel and paint is often used to create a soft gradation of colour. Photo by Polly Hanrahan Susan works by studying real botanical specimens where possible, which helps her to create the finest of details. She also takes inspiration from photographs and botanical publications in order to create a realistic piece. Her fine artistry has led to commercial projects with the Financial Times and Liberty London amongst others. Susan also teaches paper flower workshops both within the UK and internationally, as well as her popular online classes. This all feeds in to her pieces, bringing a vibrant sense of colour and a richness to the paper world she creates. My name’s Marion Webber and I’ve been working in the field of Arts in Health and more general participatory arts for over a decade. Studies* have proven the benefits of taking part in creative activities that support our daily lives. I founded Arting Celfio during 2020, to enable Healthcare professionals and artists specialising within Arts and Health to collaborate and provide high-quality, tailor-made, person-centered arts projects. I am a practicing artist based in South Wales, with extensive experience in Participatory Arts Practice. This has given me the privilege to work with diverse participants on many commissions resulting in the installation of artworks in both temporary and permanent exhibitions. My art practice and knowledge inform how I collaborate and co-curate projects with Healthcare professionals and fellow artists within the field of Arts in Health. I have an MA (with Distinction - Arts Practice Arts, Health and Wellbeing) and gained a PGCE PcET Teaching Qualification (Post-16 and Adult Education sectors). I deliver creative workshops, informed by reflective practice and a commitment to continued professional development that connects, and provides meaningful activities that value people’s input and stories.
