The Welsh School Of Homoeopathy

the welsh school of homoeopathy

he Welsh School of Homeopathy was founded in 1995. The School is recognised by the Society of Homeopaths. It is located in the centre of Carmarthen, by the castle grounds. The building comprises of two teaching rooms, a clinic room, a library and computer room, kitchen and toilet facilities, plus a shop front and waiting area. There are plenty of nearby bed and breakfast facilities and a nearby car park, plus many eating places to choose from! Carmarthen itself is easily accessible by train and by car from the M4 motorway. Testimonials: “I love the Welsh School. It beats with a fine and beautiful heart. Bill and Linda are dedicated to both the art and science of homeopathy as well as the vital and sometimes challenging processes of becoming a healer. Their commitment to student centred learning is deeply refreshing and rewarded by both committed and enthusiastic students and graduates.” MIRANDA CASTRO (Author & Teacher) “Teaching at the Welsh school is always a delight. The ethos of the school is inspiring to everyone who comes into contact with it and inspires the students to a deep understanding and love of homeopathy.” PETER FRASER (Author/Co-director Vancover Homeopathic Academy) “I teach in many different schools in the UK and abroad and the quality of the teachers and students in the Welsh School is bettered by none. It is led and nurtured by a committed team with the complementary skills of Linda Gwillim and Bill Rumble. In a day’s teaching a teacher soon realises by the class interaction the quality of the students’ homeopathic understanding. It is obvious that the traditional principles of homeopathic philosophy, a sound materia medica and hard work are integral to the Welsh School’s curriculum. However, the remedies are not taught dryly but are seen as part of the dynamic process of nature from which they derive. Nature and man’s relationship with it in all ways, including myth, are central to a deep understanding of remedies and this School seems to embrace this more than any other, with active involvement in symbolism and legend. This is important for homeopathic understanding but also for personal development and a deeper understanding of the universal connection we share.

Makers Quarter

Salford

Makers Quarter was formed in response to a number of issues facing the independent makers of Manchester. High commercial rents, impractical spaces, and isolation are major problems experienced by many. We felt passionately about finding a solution for this and believe that a shared workshop space is the solution. Manchester was at the heart of the Industrial Revolution and sadly over the years industry has been swapped for office space and city center flats. There needs to be a balance to help small independent businesses thrive and we think the Makers Quarter is a great start! Makers quarter will not only be providing space but a creative community and exciting lessons to the public. Having access to a shared workshop, studio spaces and craft tables in the heart of the city will encourage all types of makers to come together. Having tested the water in a small workshop in collaboration with 3space the positive response has encouraged us to open a larger space. We have searched endlessly to find a suitable location for our members and Makers Quarter in now finally a reality! Our 7500sq ft workshop in central Manchester has great transport connections. Cornbrook tram stop is just a 6 minute walk away and a foot/cycle path along the canal cuts through Castlefield locks and takes you straight into town in less than 15 minutes. Makers Quarter is shared between our members and divided up into larger studio spaces, pods, craft tables and a separate wood workshop for all to access. Creating this community allows us to provide a hassle free, creative space at affordable rates. By offering flexible space on both a permanent and pop up basis we aim to support makers of all levels. Anyone can join, whether they are a professional maker, need a workbench for a weekend hobby, or would like to learn new skills. We will be offering classes in all sorts of interesting crafts such as ceramics, woodwork, Upholstery, furniture making, leather work and many more....check on our members page for upcoming classes or to book a slot in the workshop.

The Aspire Academy & Tuition Ltd.

London

The Aspire Academy is committed to providing a safe, containing, caring, good humoured and well-disciplined school.Dear Parents and Carers, How did that happen? Here we are again in December with all the pressure that comes with it. The temperature has changed, the light has changed, the music on the radio has changed and the lights and decorations up everywhere are telling us of the joy to come, but we have to grind our way there. Grind our way through it and remember that not everyone is going to have a plentiful Christmas. We move towards it with restrained excitement and know that our foodbank collections and distribution will probably mean as much as at any time in recent years. 8W got stuck into The Samaritans Shoe Box appeal and managed to fill and send 9 shoe boxes for girls and boys for all age ranges from the wonderful donations received. The class are tracking them and we look forward with them to see where they end up. We know it’s a huge thing to receive one of these boxes in the target countries. Year 11’s are currently in the thick of their paper 1 mock exams and doing well, giving it a real go. We had the Functional Skills Reading paper results for a group of them yesterday and were thrilled to discover 9 out of 13 passed and one pupil missed out on a pass by only one mark. The results of the Writing Paper taken last week will be a little slower in arriving but we hope for a similar level of success. The paper 2 mocks will be in January and will help to prepare the pupils for the GCSE exams proper in May and June in 2023. There are planned trips to the Christmas markets and around the County to see some cultural sites in the next two weeks, but we are still full gas as we approach the end of term. The Daily Yellow news sheet continues to provide interesting reading for our community. The tutor teams have done a great job in producing it these last 6 weeks especially.

Anita Sharma Coaching

anita sharma coaching

Personal Growth & Wellbeing I’m Anita, a personal growth and well-being coach, specialising in helping young people and their families navigate their way through the teenage and pre-teen years. Whether it’s exam stress, social anxiety or learning to deal with the overwhelm caused by social media, today’s young people have more pressure on them than ever before and, as a parent, it can be hard to know where to turn for advice and support when your child is struggling. Why use a coach? Shouldn’t I be able to support my child myself? Not fully understanding emotions, the impact they have and how to manage them can lead to self-destructive behaviour and negative beliefs, which is not only hard for the young person but for the family around them too. Seeking help from someone objective, outside the family, might feel difficult but many of those I work with say they wish they’d done it sooner. Parenting is hard work and it’s ok not to struggle on alone. I have spent my entire career working with young people, spending 20 years as a secondary school teacher before becoming a coach. I’m also a mum-of-two myself, so I know how difficult it can be. How does coaching work? Using a combination of talking and listening, alongside a series of practical steps, I help guide and encourage your child. Together we work through the issues that are troubling them to come up with a sustainable plan to set them on the right path for the future. How we get through our teenage years can pave the way for how we manage the rest of our lives. I’m passionate about bringing out the best in every child and teenager and giving them the confidence and skills to succeed in the world. I offer two types of support – Emotional Wellbeing and Academic Coaching – and aim to build flexible packages around you and your family, with prices starting from £30 per session. You can see more details in the Services section and more information about my qualifications and credentials on the About Me page.

Bayswater

We are worldwide pioneers in Baby Swimming and we can offer world first concepts. Our new innovative programs make us stand out above our competitors and we offer on-going avenues to grow your business. We believe that swimming can create neural pathways for children to absorb more information which leads to emotional intelligence. The Aquababies teacher roles are to offer an education to the parents. The Aquababies Global brand has been rapidly growing globally and operating in 10 countries, 10 Franchises in Turkey and 4 in Thailand. If you are interested in operating an Aquababies franchise or license then look no further! ABOUT OUR BABY SWIMMING PROGRAM At Aquababies we prefer to offer an education for a holistic approach to water activities. Our baby swimming lessons develop strength, stamina and agility. Through correct training, babies can learn to respect and love the water, happily swimming above and under the surface. All babies are born with the natural ability to hold their breath underwater. This is known as the “mammalian diving response”. This natural reflex is not something we rely on. We would prefer to teach the children to hold their breath in a relaxed manner. This forms part of the baby swimming class structure in order to help your child gain confidence in the water. Our parent and baby swimming classes are designed to educate not only the child but the parent too. We understand the importance of teaching parents why children relate to certain exercises due to their reflexes and we help to manage their expectations. The main factor is to have fun whist learning essential life skills! Recent statistics show that nearly 500 babies drown each year, often in very shallow water. The ultimate goal of Aquababies is to teach swimming so that babies will be water-safe. This means that an Aquababies child will learn to find the safety of the poolside unaided. We recognise that swimming has so many health benefits for both parent & child - physically, emotionally and socially. In simple terms it helps them to sleep better and eat better!
