Clinical documentation is the most critical link in providing proof to the insurance company of the treatment being provided. It is also the record of the client’s progress as they move through their treatment episode. Each level of care has specific criteria for medical necessity. Initial authorizations and requests for continued stay all rely completely on the documentation proving medical necessity is being met. JDS Consulting’s UR and Clinical Services Department provide a wide range of training to ensure that your facilities documentation supports the authorizations being requested. From an overview of medical necessity, to training on specific documents, i.e intake assessments, group notes, utilization review forms, etc, we can pinpoint any areas that may require attention. We pride ourselves on working within the system already in place within each individual facility, tailoring our skills to the identified needs of the clinical team. On site training sessions are available as often as your facility deems necessary. JDS Consulting will work closely with your clinicians at each step of your client’s stay at your facility. We are here to provide support for your treatment team, allowing them to focus on the clients. The UR specialist assigned to your facility will be reading through your documentation daily and send emails with any concerns the run across. After moving out of the University of Sussex it has established a reputation for excellence in Brighton and the South East. Our approach to teaching creative writing At a time when the cost of higher education has made university study an expensive luxury, our programmes offer a practical course of study, taught at university level, at an affordable price. Our innovative approach to teaching focuses on individual creativity and on teaching writing skills within the context of the creative process. Through a practical course of study designed to teach you how to build and structure narrative, our team of experienced writing tutors will help you develop your creative potential. Blended creative writing courses Work patterns and learning patterns are changing. To accommodate this new reality, as well as our in-person courses we have developed a new blended learning structure for our two-year programme. Our blended courses, aimed at local writers in the South East, are a mix of online and in person teaching, with classes taught from the Phoenix Art Space, or The Kemptown Bookshop in Brighton in early autumn and summer and online during the winter. You’ll spend the first five weeks of the Autumn Term meeting up in person, then switch to online learning as Winter sets in. We’ll stick with online classes until clocks go forward in March, then meet up again in person for the end of the Spring Term and the whole of the Summer Term. This way we make the most of what online learning has to offer, get to know each other, work together as a group, avoid travel over the winter months, stay safe and reduce our carbon footprint. Our independent artist's studio has been active for over 15 years and throughout this time we have produced many commissions and held courses with students visiting this historic region from all over the world. The studio was formerly on Via della Scala, in the historical Palace of the Riblet Bargagli Petrucci in the center of Florence, but moved in 2022 to the new location in the countryside. For those who cannot travel to Italy, we have new online videos for beginners or professional artists to learn art virtually. Classical and Contemporary OUR SPECIALITIES We specialize in antique artisan techniques and skills such as gilding, trompe l'oeil, grisaille, fresco, sgraffito, and grottesca decoration. We create artworks and decoration for interiors, harpsichords, and furniture. We produce fine furniture finishes and decorative art for the interior design industry worldwide. Complete Lean Solutions was established in 2004 by Richard Pounder and Andy Kelsall. Between them they had over 22 years experience of working for Toyota in the UK and Europe. Initially offering straightforward Lean specialist services in Australia, it quickly became apparent that there was a market for structured Lean training. CLS-developed training programs have been created around real business need as opposed to simply ‘ticking the right boxes’ to obtain certification. With more diverse clients came the need for more diverse approaches. From banking through to telcos, pharma, food and healthcare, each project offers fresh challenges. The one thing that remains the same, however, is the Lean mindset. From some of the largest companies in the world through to business with only six employees, our approach is always the same: engage the people, listen to what they have to say and coach them through to success. In 2008, CLS commenced operations in the UK, quickly becoming established as a respected and successful Lean consultancy within manufacturing operations in the Midlands. Since then, CLS have become a nationally accredited training provider for NVQ’s in the UK, and have continually delivered successful Profit Improvement Projects (PIPs) in the UK, Europe, North America and Canada. Our governing body comprises elected representatives from the local authority, staff, parents and members of the community and the combined experience, skills and knowledge is vast. The job description for governors is clear, set the strategic direction of the school, hold school leaders to account for improvement and ensuring that the school budget is spent appropriately. As such, much of our time is spent working with Mrs Johnson and the senior leadership team to continually review and refine the quality of our provision through our subcommittee meetings.
