Children First Learning Partnership

children first learning partnership

London

May I take this opportunity to welcome you to the Children First Learning Partnership website, The Children First Learning Partnership was established in April 2019 and is a small but growing multi academy trust made up of Primary and First Schools. We believe our name captures what is at the very heart of all that we believe in and will drive our future development and growth. We pride ourselves in the support, challenge and encouragement that we provide for each other and believe every school in the Children First Learning Partnership is unique, diverse and bursting with talent that will always be actively encouraged. We work tirelessly to ensure our pupils love to come to school, know how to keep themselves safe and make friendships based on respect, honesty and trust. The difference we can make to our local community is also very important to our schools, our multi academy trust promotes this cohesion to develop a sense of pride and responsibility in our pupils. Collaboration is a key driver in our motto ’ Inspiring Excellence Together.’ We have a proven track record of school to school improvement, which we believe has allowed schools facing difficulty to rapidly improve. Alongside this success it has allowed those offering support the opportunity to be able to grow leaders and specialist teachers for the future. By doing so we can ensure that our pupils receive an outstanding and innovative curriculum, which promotes a wide range of exciting and aspirational learning opportunities, inspiring a thirst to learn and the skills to work independently and alongside others. Our broad range of professional development opportunities, using key evidence based research, are both bespoke and MAT wide. We also actively encourage regular networking, peer mentoring and coaching across our own multi academy trust and with others. This has been a privilege to oversee and the sheer potential and capacity it is creating for us is inspirational. Thank you for visiting our website, however you would be very welcome to visit one of our schools, to hear about their journey and the difference the Children First Learning Partnership is making to them. Look forward to meeting you soon. Mrs Abigail Rourke CEO Children First Learning Partnership, National Leader of Education.

We are a pioneering community-led learners' co-operative focused on improving the educational, physical and social well-being of children and families contextualised within family and community empowerment. We are commonly known as uLearn Naturally Learners' Co-operative. We are an umbrella organisation serving collectives with assistance in forming Abundance Centres Member Trusts. We also work to build various kinds of educational infrastructure to support our Member Trusts and the general public. These infrastructure works are mainly related to our Home-School-Knowledge Exchange project and our emerging uLearn Naturally Media Services. In general the objectives of the Trust are to carry out activities which benefit the communities of UK and members of the Trust in regard to community engagement, family directed learning and personal development in the realms of education, well-being and social networking. In particular, our mission is to establish and maintain centres of service with the principles and general intention of bringing about better community engagement, creativity, cross-curricular learning and/or unified ways of coming to know that which specifically enables and enriches the learning of the sciences and maths through the arts, intelligent play and the dissemination of wholistic (nature-centric) pedagogical (learning) practices. Do you need help establishing something like this? Our co-operative model has allowed us to bring together and work with many leading organisations (similar to the mode of a consortium), thereby bringing the benefits of a broad range of expertise and experience. It is our mission to continue advancing our governance structure to achieve our cooperative aims perfectly, offering a broad range of support options to our Member Trusts and the public in general. Currently there is much evidence to point to the need for more creative approaches to education to best honour real-time learning potentials, the need to make intelligent play and early life learning relevant to our rapidly changing society yet still honouring the valuable inner cultures of the past is of utmost importance today. Where cultural heritage is valued in learning processes is the exact place where we find the seeds of our most natural abundance centre power. Women in DataĀ®

women in dataā®

As a recruiter with over 20 years of experience in the field of data science and analytics, Roisin McCarthy observed a worrying decline in female candidates applying to roles across every level. The gap in female applicants led her to examine the underlying causes and barriers to women in the data and analytics industries. What she found led her to collaborate with Britain’s foremost analytics expert, Payal Jain and together, Women in Data was formed to confront this startling problem and to agitate for change. Women in Data® aims to bring awareness through media appearances and events; in particular, the landmark annual Women in Data® conference. This began as an understated symposium, attended by 100 people in 2015 and it erupted into the most highly anticipated annual data science event in the UK. At the 2019 conference at the Arora O2 Women in Data welcomed more than 1500 attendees, and in 2020 thousands of data professionals attended a week of online Women in Data events and workshops. The message of diversity and equality is permeating into the data zeitgeist with each Women in Data® event we run. From the classrooms of Milton Keynes to the House of Lords, we have been working tirelessly to raise awareness of the issues and emphasise the value of female participation at every level. We collaborate with our corporate partners to stage regular Women in Data networking events throughout the year, providing opportunities for leaders in the field (mostly women) to share their knowledge and experiences via informative presentations and discussions. We intend to emphasise and celebrate the accomplishments of women because ‘you can’t be what you can’t see’. All Women in Data events are for women at every stage of their careers to connect with one another in a safe and stimulating environment. The demand for data science to become more inclusive and representative is growing, as evident in the generous support of our corporate partners, whose contributions enable us to run these events for free. We would like to thank them for their enthusiastic embrace of Women in Data and all that we stand for.
