The Ethical Education Enterprise CIC was established to provide high quality and meaningful training to people in the local communities of the Greater Manchester area. Here at Ethical Education, we pride ourselves on creating a learning environment that offers each student an individual pathway. Working with local organisations, we support staff to develop their skills through accredited qualifications and bespoke training which, in turn, enhances local sustainability. We are currently working with young people aged 14yrs + to provide additional support alongside school, focusing on their individual attributes and interests. We also work with adults who are looking to progress in work or with barriers to work. Experience has shown us that, in reality, most people simply want meaningful work in their lives and equally meaningful social relations that come as part of being included in the wider working world. We believe that an intrinsic, if not critical part of helping people to achieve their aims is to develop productive relationships with all like-minded organisations such as third sector partners, education providers, support organisations, social housing providers and employers. We therefore can develop positive transitional pathways to ensure our learners are trained to a level which enables them to confidently progress or enter into productive, meaningful and sustainable employment. Taking a person-centred approach, we aspire to produce positive outcomes for all individuals we work with, but also for employers and society, as we believe each are mutually complimentary and achievable given the right approach.

Aerial and Circus Arts Studio based in Surrey!Welcome to CirqueScape! Do you want to get stronger, meet new friends, increase your confidence, or just learn a fun new skill? Come on down and join in the fun! Whether it’s your first time trying circus classes or you’re already a seasoned pro, we’re looking forward to meeting you! The two broad disciplines in trapeze are swinging and static. Our classes are in a form of static trapeze, which means we let the trapeze hang straight down without swinging on it. Both of the ropes are rigged from the same point in our classes, meaning that the ropes and bar form a large triangle shape and the trapeze can spin freely on the rigging point. This setup is commonly referred to as a “dance trapeze” setup. Our classes focus on making shapes on the equipment and moving through sequences, gradually building your skills as you get stronger and more confident. But these sessions will also help you build relevant strength and knowledge to give you a headstart if you ever decided to give flying trapeze a go in the future. People are often surprised by how much they achieve in their first trapeze session. So if you’re not sure if you’ll have enough strength for it, why not just come down and give it a go? We’re very friendly, we have a lot of fun, and you might just surprise yourself along the way!

I am a Devon based textile artist creating contemporary textile art inspired by the coast and countryside. With no formal training I took up free motion machine embroidery in 2012 and over time I have gravitated towards textile art, developing my own unique style by using organza and net to give a soft watercolour feel to my work. Working loosely from photographs, but often directly from my imagination, each piece of my work evolves as it is created. I prefer not to use a sketchbook, instead allowing my creativity to guide me as each piece develops. Colour and texture are big influences for me and where possible I prefers to source up cycled textiles for their variety and individuality. I love the idea that these materials can be given a new purpose, and can be appreciated in a totally different way for many more years to come. Currently, I hold the position of Deputy Headteacher in an 11-16 secondary school with responsibility for curriculum development. Since being a senior leader, I have gained significant experience in leading whole school professional development and the quality assurance of the quality of education. I have been awarded a distinction in a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and in doing so have carried out research relating to curriculum and social justice. I strongly believe in: Creating an engaging, challenging curriculum which allows all children to flourish and achieve their potential. Providing high quality professional development which allows staff to improve performance in the classroom. An education system that empowers learners and promotes social justice. Welcome to Zumba® Fitness Cheadle Hulme and Poynton, fun classes to learn Zumba®, meet new people, lose weight, get fit, tone up and all whilst having a great time! I have danced all my life, qualifying to teach Ballet, Tap and Modern with the N.A.T.D. However, through traveling, I never got the opportunity to settle down and set up my own dance studio. Nevertheless, I always found a local dance class and joined in. As time passed, sadly I have found there are less dance classes available for adults. Then I joined Anne Hill's Zumba® Fitness class and found a dance based exercise I loved! I enjoyed it so much, the music, the easy to follow steps (and with the encouragement of Anne), I decided to join the ZIN™ party and now I am B1, Pro Skills and Zumba® Gold qualified instructor. ZIN™. Further qualifications in the pipeline. I run 5 classes a week: 3 (at The Methodist Church, Ramillies Avenue, Cheadle Hulme) Tuesdays Zumba® Fitness at 10:00am and 6:15pm and Thursdays (Zumba Gold®) mornings at 10:00am. 1 class (Civic Hall, Park Lane, Poynton) Tuesdays (Zumba Gold®) at 11:30am 1 class (the Hockley Centre, 307 Park Road, Poynton) Wednesdays (Zumba Gold®) at 10:00am. Due to the Pandemic Booking are currently required. All age groups are welcome, classes give a great workout and are fun & friendly.
