The original architect of this interesting and scenic 18 hole parkland course, Tom Williamson, left a supreme legacy at Stanton, demonstrating how golf and nature can blend harmoniously. The course has an enviable reputation of being in excellent condition throughout the year and in addition has some of the purest greens in the county. As you approach the Club, on the left of the main drive you will find the driving range, a newly developed chipping and bunker play area and of course a practice putting green. Just the ticket to hone your skills prior to starting your round. Arranged in a double loop, the par 73 course offers a mix of tricky par threes, some long par fours which can test even the longer hitter and interestingly finishes with two par fives. The tree lined tight fairways reward accurate shots and punish those off line. This coupled with strategically placed bunkers and some elevated tight greens make this a true test of golf for players of all abilities. The first nine holes offers the chance to build a good score offering a number of birdie opportunities - if you play accurate iron shots to the greens. However the back nine can soon claw back birdies made, with holes 13 to 18 always proving a good test particularly in the prevailing wind.

Like thousands of parents across the UK, mother of three, Reedah El-Saie was frustrated with an antiquated education system originally designed post industrial revolution to prepare children for factory work. She had witnessed how exams and revision had caused her children stress and anxiety, resulting in them losing their love of learning. As a family of diverse heritage Reedah hoped for a more inclusive curriculum both in terms of content and delivery. In winter 2018, whilst preparing her son for 11+, Reedah came across Fortnite often played during revision breaks. She noticed how the 3D open world, multi-player, action game appealed to children across the world. She imagined an educational game through a 3D open world, including diverse characters and stories, fully aligned with the UK national curriculum and 11+/13+ entrance exams, enabling learning through play. After extensive but fruitless research for a pre-existing educational mobile games app aligned with the UK national curriculum, Reedah founded Brainspark Games (previously Xplorealms). Her vision was to create a 3D open world, celebrating diverse characters, using immersive technology to engage wider audiences as well as BAME, vulnerable and neurodiverse. She researched the curriculum pedagogy, twenty-first century skills movement and flip schools and held workshops and interviewed children, parents and teachers to ensure user-led games!

Parents/guardians are within their rights to seek consent to withdraw from the roll of a Highland school for home education rather than having them taught at one of the local authority schools. Who is entitled to home education? Any parent/guardian can choose to do this as long as they provide an efficient education that is suitable for the age, ability and aptitude of the child. Parents/guardians have a responsibility to seek consent from the Highland Council to withdraw from the school roll for home education (if in attendance at a Highland Council school). In line with the Scottish Government guidance, we aim to issue a decision within 6 weeks of the receipt of the original request. Until consent is granted the young person remains on the school roll and should attend school. If a family have moved into the Highland Council area from another local authority area in Scotland or another nation, the parents/guardians do not require the consent of the authority for home education. However, we do encourage families to contact us as the advice we can provide and the information about services for school aged children provided by the NHS, further education providers and Skills Development Scotland is found to be very helpful by families home educating. I knew from a young age I wanted to share my passion with the world and therefore was determined to educate myself on how to teach performing arts. After successfully completing a PGDE Teaching Qualification in Dance at Liverpool John Moores University as well as a Degree in Dance, Drama and Performing Arts at Edgehill University. I decided to open my own Dance Academy focusing on inclusivity, learning new skills, a love of music and fitness. I pride myself on having an inclusive academy where EVERYONE MATTERS! I continue my professional development in working with children and young people as I am passionate about each of my pupils reaching their individual potential.

The Hong Kong International Coaching Community (HKICC) is a non-profit organisation that cares about the development of coaching and coaches in Hong Kong and beyond. What started in 2002 as the first graduate class of a Hong Kong coach training school reconnecting to share experiences, we are now the longest established professional coaching association in Hong Kong. Singing and Teaching Singing Training for Performers and TeachersAbout this year’s courses We have launched a brand-new digital format for our courses this year which includes a core component workshop every month, followed by a practice group session that is designed to practically reinforce the theory learnt in the component workshop. We hope this will give you time to explore the theory behind our teaching model and to experience all its practical elements so that you can integrate these skills into your own singing and teaching more easily. By splitting the teaching model down into its component parts, we are offering participants the ability to have the full experience of one of our flagship 5-day courses but from the comfort of their own home. This is something we have been asked for previously and we are delighted to now be able to offer such flexibility. As well as a new digital format we are now offering participants who are unable to attend, for whatever reason, on the days or times below, the opportunity to have access to the full workshop or practice group recording of the live session. All you must do is book a place on the course you’d like access to and then email us to let us know that you want access to the recordings only.
