Our story....When Sarah & Simon met in 2007, Sarah had just renovated her home and Simon had no idea what change of direction was coming his way! A few years on, after the birth of their son, they both recognised that they had more in common than just love!  Their passion for creatively ReUsing everyday items became fun and constant ReThinking anything from a shells to furniture to their most recent project an Upfurbished Lodge ReTreat in Suffolk. With Interior Design experience Sarah started to incorporate ReUsing in her schemes, recognising a “gem” that needed some ReLoving and clients started to offer her pieces to upcycle. Not long after she had her first furniture sale and commissions followed!  And so ReVamp Boutique was born! With basic carpentry skills from school Simon started to adapt some of the pieces under Sarah’s design eye and soon Simon took an interest in the upholstery side making this a formidable creative team. Sarah’s passion is to share some ReVamp secrets, and returning to her teaching experience she  gleaned at a local college, she now runs creative ReUse workshops which are not just sustainable but fun, sociable, excellent for your well being and the best gifts for family, friends and loved ones! The business has now undertaken many commissions, with Simon now an accomplished upholsterer and Sarah a furniture artist seen at Grand Designs and Westfield Stratford & London. The couple now have premises to run their workshops, take commissions and sell their statement furniture as well as their Retreat, the complete ReVamp experience, available for booking now. Essex chocolatier, Sarah Knights, specialises in making delicious, traditional, handmade artisan chocolates, as well offering chocolate courses, workshops, demonstrations and parties. Due to the Coronavirus we are currently only courses and workshops on a by appointment basis only. If you would like to book please contact me directly . Sarah says ‘As well as making handmade chocolates we specialise in the tuition of chocolate making’. If you would like to know about how it all started then read on! Before starting on my ‘chocolate journey’ I worked in the telecoms industry and then with my husband running our own railway engineering business where I was (and still am) Finance Director in my spare time! The railway business also operates Poplar Miniature Railway at Poplar Nurseries Marks Tey. In May 2012, I was asked to run a chocolate stall at a local pub ‘fund raiser’ and loved it so much I decided to set up my own business. Since then I have expanded to make a wider range of chocolates, which as well as selling from my shop at Poplar Nurseries I sell to local hotels, farm shops, florists and seasonal markets. My customers currently include The Angel Hotel Bury, The Salthouse at Ipswich, Dilly’s florist Colchester, The Hearing Centre Colchester.

Under the leadership of Artistic Director and founder Dr Sharon Williams, the company’s motivation is to use the power of interactive theatre to entertain, to ignite curiosity, provoke thought, and to educate young people to enable them to make informed choices. Through an interactive approach, the audiences have a greater emotional engagement with the topics and empathy with the characters. All performances have had a notable impact on the audiences, both in terms of the theatrical experience and a continuing dialogue with the audiences. The N-Act team comprises professional actors with extensive experience of TV, film, theatre, script writing and backstage production with many successful workshops and performances in the wider community.
