Course prerequisites Suitable for both medics and non medics A foundation level dermal filler qualification is required to enrol onto this course. This training course requires you to be an active practising aesthetic injector with a minimum of six months experience with a demonstrable portfolio of client treatments. This is a two day City and Guilds 7543 training course with a practical and oral exam. Candidates will be provided with course study notes. Who are the qualifications for? The City and Guilds 7543 qualification is for those who are already practising in the industry, or for those whose aim is to enter the industry and for those wanting to gain a certificate for their own personal skills development. This City and Guilds 7543 course is arranged in the following sections: Legislative and organisational requirements and procedures Operating principles and functional requirements including environmental and legal requirements Health & Safety/environmental requirements Environmental issues Legislation and regulations Use and application of special purpose tools, equipment and materials needed for system recovery Identification, recovery and charging Leak detection Disposal, recycling or destruction of waste

This qualification is designed for learners aged pre-16 and above who wish to develop skills and knowledge in textile craft. This course has been designed to be as affordable for families as possible but does rely on the use of a sewing machine. Please note, this is not a GCSE but is a GCSE Level course which is why it is designed to span 2 years, although we offer complete flexibility on the timeframe that learners can complete within. This qualification is a Level 2 Qualification and is Ofqual approved carrying 15 credits. Other examples of Level 2 qualifications are BTEC Level 2 and the Silver Arts Award. Feedback from our past learners shows that this qualiifcation is widely regarded as level to a grade A*-C/4-9 at GCSE standard when applying for college or work placements. Please also note, that whether this course is recognised as a GCSE equivalent by colleges and further education establishments, can vary according to location, college and even between courses at the same college. When there is a shooting, stabbing or bomb explosion the initial priority will be public safety. This can delay the time before the emergency services are able to reach the injured. Our 3 hour citizenAID course enables the general public to be effective in these situations before the emergency services are available to provide professional medical support. This course can be delivered on-site or at our training centre in Poole, Dorset. Qualification Information This qualification and learning outcomes are based on the blended recommendations of: European Resuscitation Council, Section 9. First Aid British Army, Battlefield Casualty Drills Course Content Following this course students will: Be able to use the citizenAID app/pocket guide in an emergency situation. Be able to provide immediate first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is breathing. Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with severe external bleeding. Who should attend? This qualification is for all members of the public who wish to learn lifesaving skills and techniques in the event of a deliberate multiple casualty incident. Pre-requisites Students must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training.
