If you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student we have the tools and experience to enhance what you have and provide you with much more. If you wish to gain an accreditation for your efforts, we can give you all the support and assistance you need for Trinity College Exams, ABRSM, RockSchool or any other provider of your choice. The lessons are structured around the students level, needs and likes. Herne Bay

Anna trained at the Deborah Capon College, and was also heavily influenced by her time training and working in America. She was represented by Terpsichore Entertainment in New York and worked within theatre and television. Following this she became the company's UK talent representative, responsible for identifying and guiding talented artists seeking legal employment and representation in the USA. Anna went on to train as a teacher, running her own school, the Hasland Dance Studios, for 6 years, achieving her Licentiate and Fellowship qualifications with the ISTD, and becoming a mutually recognised teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. In 2015 she became an Approved Tutor for the ISTD and created Anna Morgan Dance, offering bespoke teacher training for the Diploma in Dance Education qualification. Anna spent a number of years on the Ballet faculty at Performers College before joining Bird College as a Ballet Tutor in 2016, and is also the staff representative to the Board of Directors at Bird College. In 2021 Anna joined the teacher training faculty of the Royal Ballet School to deliver their 'Inspire' teacher training seminars in the UK and internationally. Anna is also an adjudicator for the British and International Federation of Festivals, and is on the Advisory Board for the TIRED Movement (Trying to Improve Racial Equality in Dance) Before the pandemic Anna pursued teaching and choreography throughout the UK and America, including choreographing two original works for Bailar Al Sol in New Jersey. Alongside American Company 'United We Dance' Anna is currently involved in pre-production of an original Contemporary Ballet to be performed by a brand new, international company once travel restrictions permanently ease.

From prehistoric storage jars to tiles on the space shuttles, pottery and ceramics have played a key role in innumerable human endeavors. If you looking to try out some pottery classes here in Dorset, why not begin your journey now and start creating pieces yourself. Here at Cedar Pottery, I will guide you through the various techniques in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Hand building, throwing on the wheel, sculpturing can all be tried. Glazing can be fun too and I will help you to understand this interesting part of the art of pottery. You are more than welcome to visit the studio to find out more about the environment you will be working in, the classes available and have a chat about what you want to achieve. There are six places per pottery course meaning we can tailor the classes to suit you, your level of skill and your creativity! It doesn’t matter how much potting experience you have – total beginner or happy hobby potter. I can offer one-to-one time to tutor each individual, and so the making schedule can be flexible. I am a thrower, but can also tutor in hand building and sculpture work and will take you through the various techniques needed to throw good pots. Currently I have two electric wheels. We run 2 hour taster courses, 1/2 day and one-day courses and for those who want to really develop their skill, then we have a 8 week intensive course.

Anthea Millar MA, Dip IIP | CST Partner, Course Tutor Anthea is a co-founder of CST, a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor of 38 years experience, and also a supervisor and counselling & supervision educator. She is a Vice President of the Adlerian Society, a training moderator and assessor, and author of a number of publications including co-author with Penny Henderson and Jim Holloway of Practical Supervision (JKP 2014). As well as her work in the UK, she is on the board and faculty of ICASSI, an international psychology conference, and is regularly invited to provide training abroad, most recently in Germany, USA, Malaysia, and Greece. Picture Kathy Mitchell MSc, Dip | CST Partner, Course Tutor With a background in psychology and as a BACP Accredited Counsellor of almost 20 years experience, Kathy is also an experienced supervisor and trainer. She has a thriving therapy practice and has worked in a supervisory context with experienced and trainee counsellors, and other allied professionals across a variety of settings including Centre 33 and the University of Cambridge Counselling Service. In 2007 she established an in-school counselling service at Chesterton Community College, and as a teacher and trainer she has taught A level Psychology, delivered courses in counselling and presented numerous workshops. She has a background in nursing and the NHS, having specialised in substance abuse for over 25 years. She now has an independent practice combining varied client work, supervision and training as well as offering supervision for organisations such as Centre33, Stars and Choices, she has a particular interest in encouraging supervision in fields such as medicine, nursing, teaching, the legal profession and faith leaders . She is a counselling Diploma assessor for ASIIP and has been involved as a visiting tutor for CST since its inception. Picture Jim Holloway BA DipIIP DipH | CST Associate Partner, Supervision of Supervision Jim is a BACP Senior Accredited Supervisor with over 20 years’ experience in counselling, including NHS and local authority EAP contracts. He has worked in various roles for counselling charities in Cambridge and has an independent practice specialising in anger management, and for many years ran personal development groups for men. He joined the Cambridge Supervision Training partnership in 2012 and with CST founders Penny Henderson and Anthea Millar, Jim is a co-author of Practical Supervision (JKP 2014). He currently writes the supervision column in BACP’s Private Practice journal.
