My academic skills combined with my experience continuously developed throughout my career from working with a variety of client groups as a personal trainer have enabled me to develop an extensive knowledge & expertise in exercise, nutrition, fitness, health & well being. And the student, now working in industry, will complete the circle and have a profound impact on the next generation of students. The Challenge Curriculum cannot keep pace with industry developments. Industry and education lack the processes needed to engage at the individual level we would aspire to. Outreach activities create awareness of STEM careers, but it's not "enough". In order to develop aspirations and accelerate skills, additional levels of engagement are needed. Activities feel as if they happen to students rather than with students and for students. Students are a ‘person'... not just 'stats and numbers'. We believe we are not resonating closely enough with students. It's about more than this year's recruitment or next year's jobs. Its about a long-term, strategic sustainable pipeline of inspired individuals who will inspire the next generation.

Our teaching faculty is comprised of experienced traders and educators who have a huge amount of experience not only working behind the dealing desk but most importantly profitably trading capital over many years. Having worked in the industry and seen tens of thousands of retail traders speculate on the financial markets, all too often people make mistakes and lose their capital. Even when trader gets a trade “right” and the market moves in the direction that was anticipated, unfortunately the trade can get wiped out in the process. All too often this is due to a poor understanding of leverage and risk management. Trading can be very rewarding but without sound fundamental underpinning and tried and tested methodologies, the trader is at a statistical disadvantage and is likely to lose. This is compounded when individuals try and chase their losses or use untested methodologies which will ultimately lead to capital loss. The International Academy of Trading provides real sustainable techniques and a relentless approach to avoiding common trading pitfalls. We believe in live interactive trading education as the markets are live and one cannot truly learn without the ability to ask many questions.
