I provide coaching and careers guidance. I work as a freelance consultant, based in Beckenham (in the London borough of Bromley). Here you can read more about me and how I work. For many years I worked for Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery, which in 2013 merged and became part of Health Education England. My work was focused on careers, training and education for the NHS. I became a careers adviser in 2009, gaining a PG Dip in Careers Education at the University of Warwick. During this period, I mainly worked with doctors, either on a 1:1 basis or in group sessions. I helped them choose their medical specialities, as well as supporting them through a competitive interview process. Since the summer of 2017 I have worked as a freelance coach and careers consultant. I provide business to business careers consultancy and also work with private clients. My private coaching clients are mainly adults, from college students to people that want to undergo a career change. I help with career choice, coaching and careers guidance to improve any aspect of work or work/life balance. I also work with people who need help and advice to set up their own businesses. How I work My philosophy is to work with clients using ‘unconditional positive regard’ as the foundation stone of my practice. Carl Rogers, a humanistic psychologist in the 1950s, first developed this as a concept. This means I work from a place of having utmost respect for my client. I work in a holistic way, which helps the client find their own learning and life and helps people who want to change. I may explore with the client: questions relating to life purpose, the quality of relationships (work and home), feelings, career and health. BPS qualified in the use of psychometric assessments, I am trained in the Type Dynamics Indicator. I am also on on the Careers Development Institute registered list of career development professionals.

CBCE is jointly organised by The Cremation Society of Great Britain and the Federation of Burial and Cremation Authorities. The Federation of Burial and Cremation Authorities The FBCA was formed in 1924, supporting the interests of Burial and Cremation Authorities, whether Local Authority or Private Sector and has almost 90% of UK crematoria in membership. Representing the interests of its members at Government, working closely with the Ministry of Justice, Defra and the Scottish Government. It has vast experience in offering its members technical advice, provides a range of training opportunities and carry’s out an inspection process to ensure compliance with national burial and cremation codes of practice. The Cremation Society of Great Britain The Society, a registered charity, not conducted for profit, was established in 1874. It is the pioneer of cremation in Great Britain and built and operated the very first crematorium for public use, in 1885 in Woking, Surrey. Since the Society's formation it has worked tirelessly to promote and establish the practice of cremation among all members of the community. It has aided both private enterprise and local authorities in the setting up of new crematoria and has pressed the Government departments concerned for developments in the law so that this rational, safe and dignified method of disposal of the dead might be practiced with the least possible restriction. The Society was responsible for drawing up the forms of certification for cremation and these were later adopted as the basis for the first Cremation Act in 1902. As a direct result of its activities cremation now accounts for approximately 75% of all funerals in Great Britain.

I first took up silk painting at the 2001 Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace, when the Fabric Colour Workshop were doing taster sessions. I went with curiosity, and came home with a large frame, some silk, a brush and a box of little bottles of paint! Since then, I have completed my City and Guilds qualification in creative textiles (silk painting), and the "Access to Art & Design" Diploma at the University for Creative Arts in Farnham. I enjoy teaching silk painting and helping each student to achieve their potential. I have written tutorials on aspects of silk painting for Crafts Beautiful Magazine and Creative Crafting Magazine, and contributed three projects to "Craft", which was published by Dorling Kindersley. I appeared (briefly!) on Paul Martin's Handmade Revolution (BBC2), and was interviewed by the Victoria & Albert Museum as part of a project on traditional crafts. I have run silk painting workshops for many local organisations including Watts Gallery, The Lightbox, The West End Centre in Aldershot, Amberley Museum, Woking College, NADFAS, The Embroiderers' Guild, the Guild of Weavers Spinners & Dyers, and the WI. I have also run introductory evening workshops for a number of local businesses, and many private parties. I have also been working in fused glass and ceramics since 2009, and have my own home workshop. I have been on a number of courses at Glasszoo, UCA Farnham, Warm Glass and The Glass Hub, and have also attended workshops at the International Festival of Glass. I have been featured in the Glass Beadmakers UK Magazine and Journal. I am a member of the Guild of Silk Painters. I set up their Surrey Branch in 2005. I have also spent time on the Guild of Silk Painters Executive Committee as their Vice Chairman and, more recently, as their Publicity Officer. My silk painting courses are also listed on craftcourses.com. I produce a range of hand made accessories and homewares from hand painted silk and fused glass, suitable for all occasions. After his degree, he worked as a teacher of Science in Blackheath Bluecoat C of E School, also became deputy of the department. Dr Ajeleti undertook his teacher training at Canterbury Christ Church University, obtaining Qualified Teacher Status. He received the grade ‘outstanding’ for his role as a teacher, and this was recognised by Ofsted. During this time, he was still determined to pursue a career in medicine, graduating from the Medical University of Silesia, Katowice, Poland. Dr Ajeleti graduated at the top of his class and is currently training in the London Deanery. Raised in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Dr Ajeleti has made it his duty to encourage young people to get involved in medicine and other healthcare professions. As the co-founder of Modern Day medics, he aims to help prospective medical students from BME backgrounds to reach their full potential. He was also a recipient of the Beany scholarship for the best final year OSCE result. In 2012, he was recognised as a one of the top 100 future leaders and at University, he sat on a number of society committees as well as co-founding Inspire the youth CIC. After medical school, he undertook his foundation training in Trent deanery and core medical training in South London. During his junior doctor training, he served as a regional representative for foundation doctors and he was a clinical guidance associate at one of his local hospitals. He is currently a gastroenterology trainee in Kent, Surrey & Sussex deanery where he sits on the board for the culture and leadership change team. He is extremely passionate about seeing young people achieve their potential and dreams and with Modern Day Medics, he plans to achieve this.
