Inner Circle Training offers professional advanced riding instruction to help riders of all abilities get more enjoyment from their riding. Our courses are designed to take you from just having passed your test to riding at the highest standard possible – RoSPA Gold or IAM Masters. The start-point for your journey to getting the most from your riding is to take the DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme (ERS) Assessment – this will establish the current level of your riding against the DVSA ERS standard and identify any areas for further improvement. If your riding is already at the ERS standard we will issue you with an official DVSA Certificate of ERS Completion which could qualify you for an insurance discount. If your riding is not yet up to the ERS standard, or you wish to continue to develop your skills, the next step is to take our Advanced Riding Foundation course. This is a combination of Advanced Riding Theory which is delivered through our Online Motorcycle Roadcraft course and practical on-road instruction that brings this theory to life. This course is guaranteed to take your riding to the DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme standard, and so concludes with the issue of an official DVSA Certificate of ERS Completion. To take your riding up another level, we offer our Advanced Riding Masterclass, which is 2.5 full days of riding and will give you all the skills and knowledge to take your riding to RoSPA Gold or IAM Masters standard. We can even help you organise your RoSPA Advanced Riding Test – as the IAM Masters test is only available to riders who have already passed the IAM Roadsmart Advanced Riding Test. We also offer courses aimed at riders returning to Biking (Back2Biking), riders looking to undertake a motorcycle tour with or without a pillion (Motorcycle Touring Masterclass). As well as our training courses, we also offer our exclusive Advanced Riding Training Tours. These are available to riders of all abilities, but we do ask that you are riding regularly as there is a lot of riding involved! These tours combine riding on some great roads, through spectacular scenery, with high quality individual professional advanced riding instruction. Wing Training delivers unique and bespoke course interventions for; Adult customers furthest from the workplace, adult clients with clear, identified and entrenched barriers, adult clients with a range of profound mental health and wellbeing issues, adult clients requiring support, both moving into, and in work. Wing Training adopts a highly specialised delivery approach utilising professional actor-teachers and 'Forum Theatre' techniques. It's mission is to ENABLE and INSPIRE client groups by facilitating a process of high level self-assessment and self-realisation, allowing those with a range of issues, barriers and health conditions move out of crisis and into meaningful recovery and progression. Alongside, Wing Training uses the highly acclaimed WEMWBS tool to measure improvement in mental health and improvement, and currently we can prove an average 16% increase per participant per programme. Since 2011, Wing Training has assisted over 6000 clients with wellbeing issues move successfully forward - partners including; People Plus, Ingeus, The Shaw Trust. Maximus, Acorn Training and two large FE colleges. Clients have regularly included; homeless people, ex-offenders, lone parents and those recovering from a variety of crisese. Of these, over 70 percent have moved into relevant and meaningful progression, and we can boast a 90 percent client improvement rate in a wide range of mental health related outcomes – notably; confidence, self-esteem, emotional well-being, social skills/interaction, motivation, focus, and positivity - proving levels of profound recovery. Similarly, when delivering the same resource to, specifically, harder to reach unemployed clients, we have assisted, globally, over 27 percent - of 3000 referrals - move into paid, full time work and 70 percent into other progressions (ie further training). Nearly all of these have been ‘Work and Health programme’ participants. Since April 2020, Wing Training has delivered completely digitally, but our business ambition is to move back to 'face to face' as soon as is possible to assist vulnerable clients struggling post-Covid. Funding allowing, all of our courses can be accredited to Level One and our learners achieve, either an Award, a Certificate or a Diploma in Personal and Social Development, with specialised IAG and Digital skills embedded. Our business was founded in July 2011 and offers skills based training to gain on site experience increasing knowledge to progress into industry, regenerating some of the 380,000 empty spaces and empty shops across the United Kingdom. Our business offers industry placements, mentoring, advice and guidance. Up skilling the next generation of young people to help close the increasing skills gap. Our team offers a number of opportunities through industry placements on our TV programme Transforming Spaces‘ Design Factor’ featured on BBC. Since launch 8,500 young people directly up skilled of which 70% have progressed onto training, employment or Starting Up. Our construction sites are 50/50 gender split and our teams have re-generated 16 empty spaces, empty homes, heritage buildings and worked on Wales largest road scheme a £400 million programme. Over 220 million tons of waste generated for Landfill * Only 3% of women in manual trades, 5% in engineering and only 2% of female owned businesses in Wales Transforming Spaces: Design Factor Our construction projects transforms empty and unused spaces through working with the community on the planning, design and build. Working with build experts and volunteers from the community it acts like DIY SOS/60 minute makeover. The aim is to up skill young people and members of the community to gain on site experience. If you have an empty space or empty building our team will work with you on the planning, design and rebuild of the space to turn it into a thriving community provision. Training on the site includes: planning, construction, managing budgets, Marketing, enterprise, business and managing the whole project. Our team and the experts will work on site for around one week to re-build the space and encourage volunteers to become involved and progress into training, employment or Starting Up. Helping people to gain vital industry experience to progress their career. The whole process is filmed and broadcast. Our build projects have included Wales First Garden City Café, The Hope Centre-Newport, Blaenau Gwent Community Hub-Waundeg, Empty Shops Project-Cardiff & Newport, State of the Art Cinema Room using Recycled Pallets- Cwmbran Centre for Young People, Penygraig Empty Shop, Newport Heritage Building. She gained the IHCD (Pearson) BTec Level 3 Ambulance Crew Award and has for more than 3 decades, carried out ambulance work for the Society and also worked for an independent ambulance company – mainly covering motorsports at Snetterton race circuit. She is also experienced in covering other sports events – rugby, football, horse jumping; public fetes, concerts, and NHS patient transfers. For several years during the 80’s Angela was a volunteer manager for the Red Cross Therapeutic Care Service, responsible for a team of volunteers working in hospitals and centres across the region, fitting this in with her other work. For 3 years Angela worked as a school nurse at a large senior school in Norwich, during this time she was invited to become a part-time First Aid and Child Carers Tutor at City College Norwich. During her time there gaining qualifications in management, marketing and a degree in education. Angela then became full-time Commercial Training Manager for Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex Red Cross. As well as organising a big team of Trainers part of her role was acting as an NVQ Internal Verifier and training Trainers. Along her varied career path she has built up a wealth of knowledge and expertise which reflects in the training courses and level of event cover P & K Training Services can offer. Landmarks started to offer day services and post-16 education in March 1995, where the curriculum was largely practical and land-based, working in farm buildings in Creswell, Derbyshire. Since that time Landmarks has grown and developed its educational offer so that by the time of writing this welcome, Landmarks supports over 150 post-16 and day service Learners, all of whom learn a variety of essential life skills from our five sites located across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. We have changed our curriculum from purely land and animal-based to include several vocational subjects such as; hospitality, catering, cookery, retail, administration and labouring. These additional subjects support our learners to make informed choices about the type of vocations they would like to follow. College life at Landmarks involves being taught in practical, real-life situations, whilst being supported by highly trained and experienced staff who are experts in working with learners with additional needs. It is important for me, as it is for my team, that whilst learners are with us, they focus on developing knowledge, skills and behaviour that makes a real difference to their lives. I hope from reading the case studies and outcomes featured within this website, you can see what difference that focus has made to our learners’ lives. I am extremely proud of all our learners’ achievements, either becoming more independent so that they can attend activities they enjoy or securing employment for the first time in their lives. Montrose Tennis Club is delighted by the faith shown by announcing a £23400 grant award from sportscotland – the national agency for sport. This investment, which is a 50 % grant of the money required to create two mini red courts, will complement the original six LTA standard courts already with upgraded surfaces and all floodlit. The grant ensures that the five year development plan to create a tennis centre of excellence is very much on track. The further money required has been fundraised by club members and the club’s sinking fund, as well as grants from Montrose Common Good, Aberbothock Skea Trust and Colin Grant Trust and any additional donations from local business would be appreciated too. The court build will commence after the club championships later in August. At the club, there is presently a great demand for tots tennis while the under 10 age groups continue to grow and we will now have an area to develop both their skills and play appropriate tournaments on. This new area will also be ideal for disability groups where they can focus in a smaller area and enjoy learning new eye to ball skills as well as holding tournaments. There is a definite spin-off from high profile tennis influenced by Andy Murray. Welcoming the funding Montrose Tennis Club’s secretary, Rhona Alston said “This development will continue to help Montrose Tennis Club, widen accessibility to the sport of tennis within the community and increase membership to the club. Now with the aid of full time coach Graeme Walker and Performance coach Kris Soutar plus invited coaches, there are programmes for all ages, ranging from three-year-olds to programmes for school pupils right up to veterans”. Mrs Alston continued: “Significantly, Montrose is well and truly on the tennis map, with three competing ladies teams, three men’s teams, four mixed doubles teams and the only club in Tayside to be playing out four junior teams as well as competing in junior Aegon fixtures all over Tayside and Aberdeenshire”. Last year was the first time the club were able to hold an official LTA tournament, reinstating the famous old “North Angus Tournament” now sponsored by Doug & Sandra Cree from D C Lighting Services Ltd, and it is on again this year 26th, 27th and 28th June. Entries are now open on LTA Tennis Scotland website and we are hopeful of attracting even more entries.

We are an independent motorcycle training organisation affiliated to IAM RoadSmart. We are also an active, friendly and welcoming riders’ club. ABOUT BRISTOL ADVANCED MOTORCYCLISTS Official provider of IAM RoadSmart training in Bristol. Although we are affiliated to the IAM RoadSmart organisation, and an official provider of the RoadSmart programme, Bristol Advanced Motorcyclists is a separate organisation, with charitable status. And whilst one of our primary purposes as an organisation is to provide a coordinated training programme to motorcyclists in Bristol and the west country region, the club is also an active social hub for riders. Participation in the club’s activities isn’t mandatory, but it’s a great way to meet other like-minded riders and to continue developing your skills. Once you’ve gained sufficient experience you may even wish to progress to becoming an IAM RoadSmart Observer yourself, and of course we can guide you towards that achievement too. In addition to the monthly Super Sunday events we also arrange group ride-outs, more extended trips both in the UK and Europe, talks and other social activities. Bristol blood bikes There is a close association between BAM and Freewheelers, the charitable organisation that operates the Bristol and south west region Emergency Voluntary Service (commonly known as the ‘Blood Bikes’). All of their volunteer riders must be qualified to Advanced standard and many of these have been trained by the BAM group. You can learn more about Freewheelers here: www.freewheelers.org.uk About the IAM The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) is a national charity organisation, established in 1956, dedicated to increasing road safety by improving driving standards. Both the organisation and the training programme is now known as IAM RoadSmart. RoadSmart is a national training programme for drivers and riders aimed at developing their observation and control skills. The RoadSmart training programme is delivered at regional level by volunteer groups, such as Bristol Advanced Motorcyclists (BAM), who are a designated ‘Official Provider’. All Observers are accredited by IAM RoadSmart. When you begin your training you become an Associate member. Full membership of the IAM is awarded upon successfully achieving the Advanced standard. Once this standard is achieved there are no further testing stages (unless you opt to train to be an Observer) and you become a full, lifetime member of the IAM, subject to an annual renewal fee (currently £42 per year).

Welcome Wells Park School is a LA funded residential primary school which caters for pupils between 5 and 11 years old, who have an educational statement for social, emotional and mental health difficulties.The children board at Wells Park School from Monday to Friday during term time and are referred to the school by Essex County Council. The site is based in a semi-rural area of Essex, close to the London Borough of Redbridge. Educational The education team at Wells Park School strive to help children who have disengaged from school and learning, to develop strategies to manage their behaviour in a classroom. With small classes of up to ten pupils and a minimum of one teacher and one Higher Level Teaching Assistant in each classroom, the staff at Wells Park are able to introduce and maintain clear classroom boundaries for the pupils. Through providing ability, rather than age, appropriate learning tasks, children at Wells Park can experience success in learning and begin to engage and enjoy learning in school. Residential The pupils arrive at school on a Monday morning and leave on Friday, spending four evenings and nights at the school. Residentially, the children are grouped according to their social needs into four ‘houses’ of up to ten children and three care officers. The ‘houses’ have a family feel to them and mirror the interests and personalities of the children living there. As well as sharing breakfast and dinner with their ‘house’ the children are encouraged to develop their self-help skills and to take on responsibilities appropriate to their age and abilities. The children’s life experiences and social skills are greatly enhanced through the variety of activities provided throughout the week. The aim is to support families and carers to enjoy positive experiences and relationships both with their child and the school. Tokens There is a whole school Token Economy system which allows children to earn tokens every ten minutes in school and fifteen minutes residentially, for times when they are making positive choices with their behaviour, such as listening to the adults, being in the right space with their group and getting on with the set task. Our pupils are very motivated to earn tokens as they can exchange their token slips for evening activities throughout the week and saver trips at the end of each year.
