new forest slings

New Forest slings is a not-for-profit organisation that provides services for parents in regard to slings and carriers and their use. We do this in several ways. We run sling meets, a vast library of carriers for hire. we run workshops, provide information online and give our support and advice. Our sling consultant is also able to give private consultations in your home. We are a group of mums who love carrying our babies and children and have learned lots about it. We are passionate about passing on our knowledge and skill, as well as our passion.

Roots Forest School provides a balance of child-led play and focused experiential learning. Students at Roots engage with their surroundings and are immersed in nature. Our place-based curriculum follows the flow of the seasons with the study of local ecology and seasonal changes, as well as learning the importance of taking care of this place, its creatures, and each other. Research shows that this approach encourages the development of executive functioning skills that will contribute to a student’s success in future academic and personal endeavors. OUR MISSION Through nature-based early childhood education, Roots Forest School fosters curiosity, community, and imagination to inspire stewardship and empower life-long learners.

the restorative lab

The Restorative Lab looks to effect change at individual, team and organisational levels. We do this by being curious as to how people’s thoughts, feelings and actions affect the culture of an organisation. We co-create practices and procedures with you that are more relational and function better. These support your people to have better inward-facing communication with one another and more effective outward-facing dialogue with clients.

I have always been fascinated by the delicate intricacies of the mind and how it works, and I have spent many years studying coaching and therapies on the subject. My passion for my specialist expertise today was born out of my intuition to help heal others.
