This is an introductory course to perfume creation, you will learn brief history of fragrances, olfactory families and psychology in this creative, hands-on, fun and expert-led workshop. Hamdah offer a half-day group class teach you the basics of perfumery. Led by our master perfumer, you’ll access a starter selection of  premium natural and synthetic perfume ingredients before creating your own bespoke fragrance. JANOME Corporation, popularly known as Janome, (pronounced: Ja – No -Mey), has been synonymous with quality sewing machines for over a century. In 1936, the company acquired its first mass production factory for sewing machines, starting out in Japan and now also with manufacturing plants in Thailand and Taiwan. Award-winning conductor, pianist and composer, Claudio Di Meo has established himself internationally as an exceptional talent in orchestral and choral music, bringing clarity, integrity and dynamism to his interpretation of wide-ranging repertoire. Winner of the International Conducting Competition Westminster London with the London Classical Soloists, Claudio Di Meo began his musical life in Italy, where he studied piano, composition and conducting, winning First Prize at the Italian National Choir Conducting Competition in 2011 and First Prize at the Enrico Caruso International Competition in 2014. An ardent exponent of the music of Sibelius, Claudio is a member of the prestigious Sibelius Society Italia, whose Honorary President is Sir Antonio Pappano. Claudio Di Meo has performed regularly on the international stage, including appearances in Hungary (Olasz VendègKòrus Concert Hall, Budapest), Sri Lanka (A New Direction International Performing Arts Festival, Colombo), Mexico (Festival de las Almas, Valle de Bravo), Lebanon (Al Bustan Festival, Beirut), Singapore (The Silent Lines of Its Lips), Cyprus (Lefkoşa International Festival), France (La scene Parisienne), and the USA (2014 New Year Concert, St. John the Divine Cathedral, New York). A specialist in Italian film music, Claudio Di Meo won a composition award in 2013 from the Governor of the State of Mexico and the Director of the National Conservatory in Mexico City in recognition of his “great professionalism and future potential as a composer of music for cinema.” Recent highlights include a production of Maria Callas The Black Pearl, which premiered in a series of performances at the prestigious Esplanade Theatre in Singapore and subsequently in Paris and at Grange Park Opera in England, with Claudio Di Meo as Music Director and composer.. Claudio Di Meo’s discography as a pianist includes recordings of Ravel’s Ma mère l’Oye and Debussy’s Six épigraphes antiques, as well as his own compositions Oceano di cielo and most recently, Memories, a collection of 10 pieces for solo piano. This collection has also been published by Upper Esk Music, alongside Three Motets for the Virgin Mary, a collection of his choral music. Claudio Di Meo recognises the importance of music education and is highly skilled in developing the talent of young performers. Appointed Principal Conductor of Dacorum Youth Orchestra in September 2015, Claudio Di Meo continues to inspire a new generation of musicians with his infectious enthusiasm and commitment to achieving high levels of performance. In October 2018 he was appointed Principal Conductor of the Hemel Symphony Orchestra and, as a freelance conductor, has been invited to work with other London-based orchestras, including the London Classical Soloists, Trinity Orchestra Harrow, and Watford Symphony Orchestra, among others. I am extremely keen on equipping and empowering new creatives, coaches and small business owners with the tools and strategies they need to turn their passion into a profitable, irresistible and sustainable brand. My Story My journey towards being a brand strategist and coach dates back to my university days. While at university, I realised friends and family would often use me as the sounding board for their projects and ideas. The more problems I was able to help them solve, the stronger my desire to learn about what it takes to build a sustainable brand was. I also discovered I was very good at branding. I started designing posters, flyers, and logos and got self-taught in the use of colours, appropriate fonts, text alignment among other branding design skills. In addition to my natural innate creative ability, I received my bachelor’s degree in Business Studies and Music from the university of Liverpool. It’s time to show up, step up and build a brand that you are passionate about. - THE DIGITAL BRAND BOSS Fast forward a few years later, I took on the volunteer role of team lead for the media and production department of a charity (my local church) of about 200 members. It was then that my desire to build brands for a living grew and took root. This drive led me to get certified as a brand strategist and coach. The more I learned, the more I realised the power of strategic branding in bringing clarity, direction and growth to businesses. As someone who has always experienced the world through creating, I started my first business during my first year at university on a part-time basis, in 2012. So, believe me when I tell you I understand what starting a business from scratch requires. Some of the businesses I launched during this period included a catering business, a clothing line and a luxury design card company. Like most business owners who are just starting out, I wasn’t sure how to build my brand and grow my business. Instead, I was focused on having pretty colours, a logo and a social media page, which from experience I learnt are not adequate in getting you the required results from your business. It was only after I started really diving into learning how to successfully build a solid and sustainable brand, that I started seeing real results. I went from feeling disjointed and confused to starting a business that I absolutely love and I’m passionate about.

We are passionate about enaging people of all ages in ecological issues, natural history and wildlife. We run Community Events such as Moth Breakfasts (opposite) and Community Mothing and have run courses for schools, youth groups, community organisations and home schoolers. We have a multitude of illustrated talks which have gone down a storm at local gardening clubs and Women’s Institutes. We even appeared as a guest lecturer at Birmingham University – examples are listed here The Nomadic Museum of Natural History is a combination of street theatre and education tool. Formulated out of an idea of a ‘Cabinet of Curiosity’ and the plethora of natural history items in our house it slowly became a 1m long transportable natural history museum. We have since taken in all over the country to festivals, events and private functions. For more detail click here Environmental Consultancy Our resident ecologist Tim has carried out a wide number of projects over the years. Primarily a botanist he has developed skills as an all round naturalist. He has been commissioned on work involving Newt and reptile relocation and survey work at Moredon Park, Swindon Bat monitoring on the Bats in Churches project, Herefordshire Meadow restoration projects in Peterchurch, Herefordshire Badger mitigation work at Snodhill Castle, Herefordshire A summary of his skills is available here Teaching Trees For over 20 years, Teaching Trees been connecting schools with local woodlands across England and Wales. We have been employed to run the programme for Herefordshire and Worcestershire which we have done since 2017. It is funded by the Royal Forestry Society and aims to connect children to woodlands and get them to understand the trees, wildlife and production of timber that are essential for all our health. However we are experts at introducing people to Wool craft and tour the country as the Woolly Circus. All aspects of wool are covered: wet felting, needle felting, weaving, spinning and preperarion of fleeces. We also offer Green Woodworking courses which include Whittling to make spoons and other items from greenwood with axe, knife and crook knife. We are adept at many crafts and in the past have run workshops in knotwork, origami, willow weaving, pewter smithing with cuttlefish, sewing, leatherwork, stone age craft, decoupage and home made toileteries. We are available to run craft activities at festivals, events, parties and groups. Past events we have run workshops at have been: Green Man Festival Folk by the Oak Festival Larmer Tree Frestival Lakefest Spring Greens Hellens Manor The Big Skill Community Christmas Wreath Making in Peterchurch Christmas Fairs and school events Stag and Hen dos Gardening We take a holistic view to gardening with looking and observing wildlife being key to what we do.
