We offer a range of ceramic classes and services suitable for all skill levels. Our workshops are designed to be fun and chilled we even allow BYOB. We have two levels to the studio the upper level our glaze area and private mezzanine party spot available for hire and lower level our workshop and wheel zone where you will find us working on an array of pottery for sale including commissions.

In a fun and friendly environment you can learn at your own pace over a cup of tea or coffee. You can relax, de-stress and learn an age-old skill. With Kate’s guidance you will be able to create something unique that you can be really proud of. Having been a potter for nearly 30 years, Kate will awaken your inner potter in her fully equipped studio, including four potter’s wheels. Adult classes are available on Tuesday mornings as well as Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, afternoons and evenings, and Saturday morning – making it possible to fit in a class even in the most hectic schedule. Handcrafted pottery made to be used daily, enriching the experience of a humble cup of tea. We aim to emulate the industrial prowess of the past. I believe that everyone deserves to feel comfortable with their body, and that sexuality and difference should be celebrated. My ceramics and workshops explore this idea in a fun and beautiful way. Whether revealing the hidden body parts that few get to see, or putting an ear on a butter dish, Hot Fox Pottery ceramics are all unique and designed to be beautiful pieces of art that you can use every day. You can commission a special piece of pottery with your own body part rendered in clay, or choose a 'generic genital' version. It's not all body bits; there are octopus candelabras, jellyfish wall hangings, mugs, salt pigs, bowls etc. which you would be happy to give to your grandmother (or even someone younger!) Pieces can be ordered or have a look at my online shop to see what I have in stock. I run regular classes and you can book one-off workshops in my lovely loft studio in Brighton, and offer studio and kiln hire too.
